Me went there with colleagues during lunchtime in a week day. I actually don’t quite like the environment overall - the old walls smell mouldy, the restaurant definitely needs renovation. There was not much people at that time. The food was surprisingly good, I had shredded pork Shanghai noodle soup, actually not the authentic way to cook as my knowledge is, but it tasted good. 1st time takeaway customers today. We had 2 lots of entree, 2 mains and special fried rice. All was less then $60. The food was fresh and excellent value for money (we were extra impressed it wasn't chock full of onion like most takeaways are) and the customer service provided by staff was helpful and friendly. I can not recommend this restaurant any more highly, the food is always beautiful fast and delicious. The staff are friendly and always helpful. Its easy to see why this restaurant has been around for many years and I hope that they continue for many more to come. See less

To be honest, the food was horrible and time management need to be seriously looked at - it took over 30 minutes from the first entree to the last entree to reach the table and there was only 3 people and the main meals left a lot to be desired. It was our first time there and it will definitely be our last……would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and I never leave a review like this. Thank god for toilet paper. See less

Avoid like the plague. We paid $80 for delivery and our container was 1/3rd full. When we called, the "manager" basically told us to get stuffed. See less

Sweet and pork was the worst dish I'd ever had like it had been cooked prior then cooked again. It was very dried out and stringy. Never again, expected better from Yarralumla. See less

Busy with takeaway orders on a Sunday night at 8pm but I was the only one eating in. Ordered steamed dimsims ( 2 large ones but not so great taste) & sliced beef with vegetables which was good. Nice waitress. Fairly typical style of chinese restaurant. See less

Have been going to this restaurant for 26 years. Ordered the usually great combination short soup x2. Price is normally 17.30. Had a beer while waiting and told $7 please. Said no worries and will pay the lot now. They charged an extra $4.00 per soup for prawns. (There were 2 small prawns in each) so told it was $50 for the lot. Ok than told it was $45 with cash but manager came and said no its $50 as only had 2 items. Beer not included. Now I don't care one bit about paying for what you get. But the whole experience tonight was all about gouging as much as they could. We paid $50 for one beer and two soups take away. Must be new owners as it was just over priced and all about the $$$ Will go back to the lovely Thai in same street. See less
