You would imagine a business that runs a Facebook page would respond to messages wouldn't you? I mean especially when they've opened your message and just left you on read. I applaud EQ Cafe for being so eager to push away any potential new business. I suggest you re think your social media presence. If you can't run it, don't have it. See less

Very quiet over lunch, because of the pandemic. Easy to find a quiet place for private chat. Meals were generous and well presented. Courteous and capable staff ensure that everyone is looked after. See less

Very good service - lovely people - good coffee - but the worst take away Caesar salad I’ve ever had from the bakehouse - and I’ve had a few Caesar salads ☹️ Oddly enough they drowned it out with way too much rubbery egg in huge square chunks and way too much rubbery soft bacon and way too much dressing that had no Caesar salad flavour. Visited for the first time today for lunch with my wife & daughter . They had the calamari & and I had the fish & chips. We thoroughly enjoyed the dishes, they were delcious and well cooked. We arrived late for lunch, due to a late medical appointment, and even though the kitchen was about to close, the staff could not have been more obliging. We shall return!!!!. See less

Had lunch here for the first time with my parents and we had the 2 x pepper and chilli calamari and fish and chips. Wow, it was the best we have ever had. The calamari was so light, crisp and tender with a lovely salad and dressing and the fish and chips was delicious...the fish was pure white and fresh as can be. Great friendly service too. See less

The bakery here is fantastic. I get pretty serious about food sometimes, but this place puts anything I could make to shame. The food is just good, not pretentious, not trying to be fancy, just actually good. Last visit, I had the plain brulee. Absolutely amazing texture, and just the right sweetness. The coffee is as good as you'll get from any speciality cafe as well. The best part is that the prices are in keeping with other cafes! If it's nearby or if you're happy to make the trip it'll make your $10 morning tea a lot more enjoyable. See less

I've been here a few times. It's a decent cafe to eat in if you're in the Equinox business park or nearby. The atmosphere is a little bit corporate/sterile for my liking though. That said the food is good, the service is good, prices are reasonable, the outdoor area is nice. It's a good cafe. See less

We ordered the Lunch Package 2 catering package for 12 which included gourmet sandwiches, fruit skewers and a selection of pastries. When we picked up the food, the order was wrong. The gourmet sandwiches had been switched for rolls with very little filling. The pastries were not included and we had to wait ten minutes while they cut up some pastries for us. Overall a disappointing purchase and one I would not recommend. The only saving grace were the additional canoli we purchased, which were fabulous. See less

I wasn't greeted at the door by staff and left disorientated even after approaching a server. A few years ago staff would find you a table and ask for you to order at the counter. It seems that process has changed but the servers aren't trained on formalities of it. Some servers find tables for the patrons and some don't. Ordering is now taken by servers instead of register. It took a while for table water to be provided and a menu had to be asked for. Some chairs was tucked in on table clearing but some weren't. The server had immensely horrible bodor odour and hardly spoke at all. Sitting outside the air was fresh but the odor still lingered. I ordered an iced almond latte and eggs benny with smoked pulled pork. The drinks and food arrived very timely and was plated nicely. The almond milk was splitting and had chunks but from experience I believe that to be the fault of the particular brand they're using, otherwise it was quite well made. The eggs benny came present on a bagel, which was slightly soggy due to the blanched Spinach on top of it. A fresh ingredient would have worked better here. The pulled work was moist and flavourful and the hollandaise had a nice tang to it. One poached egg was cooked beautifully and runny however the other poached egg had a hard yolk. A runny poached egg is a staple for Eggs Benedict and it was rather easy to tell this was overcooked without needing to slice through it. It's unfortunate that the quality standard of EQ dropped this time round as a I recall having a good experience and faultless food many years ago. For a premium location and well fitted establishment I expected to have a good meal at a higher than average price. Overall the food was ok but bad body odour is a definite deterrent for future returns. See less

Terrific cafe, plenty of seating and well shaded outside for sunny days. Lots of delicious salad options for lunch, although this time I had the ‘Zone breakfast’ with a lovely cup of coffee. Generous serves, friendly staff and value for money!!! See less

It was an amazing experience. The premises, the coffee and the food were so amazing, I'm literally speechless. 1) they've got large seating area both indoors and outdoors, where its comfortable, even with children 2) the menu is fresh and comprehensive 3) the food looks and tastes good See less
