Poor service and poor quality. Despite being super quiet for a Saturday, it took my partner and I ages to be served our food. When we were, it was cold and cheap. I ordered the nachos based on the menu listing that it was a “favourite share” plate with “a generous serve of guacamole and sour cream”. In fact the portion is small, the sour cream serving is a teaspoon, the guacamole is a store brand avocado dip, the cheese was cold, the chips were stale, and the mince was a greasy mess on the bottom of the plate underneath the rest of the food. We asked the waitress who served us our food for water to be brought to our table. We then spent 10 minutes watching two staff members polish dishes, one staff member make everyone else’s drinks and our waitress clear and wipe down tables. We tried to grab the attention of staff members but were ignored. Even after making eye contact with me, one staff member went to the table next to us and asked her how her meal was even though she had ordered and eaten well after us. We left when two staff members went on break and we were still waiting on water. While we waited for our food we overheard that another group had complained about their meal and drink quality and I share their disappointment. I had high hopes for such a gorgeous looking cafe with a 4 star rating. Hopefully these issues can be addressed and other patrons can be provided with a much better experience. See less
