My first time here, have heard excellent reports & my partner & I looked forward to the experience. There were many positives, but several blemishes as well. The quality of the food was very good, there was also quantity & I assure you no one went hungry. Primarily seafood & chips, followed by roast pork & lamb. NOW, my perceived blemishes where I suspect they are resting on their laurels. I suggest the tables should acquaint 10, not 12 guests, to facilitate conversation & provide ample room & comfort. There was a substantial queue emanating from the bar, but a single bar staff, SURELY two would be appropriate during peak buying, I would have thought to minimise delay. The salad of tomato, cucumber & onion was a little spare & Spartan I thought. The food platters were difficult to reach & problem would be solved with a Lazy Susan on the table. Yes, the service was okay, nice friendly staff, reasonably efficient & engaging when engaged. I don't wish to sound petty, but I would have provided the sweets free & part of the $25 entry fee. I did the sums, I counted the clientele, an approximate drink turnover, sweets & raffle tickets sold, they made a tidy profit & free sweets would have been a nice benevolence. I love Greek music, but geez, whoever chose the songs on this day needs to be replaced, too bland & boring. NO offence, but the MC was a little bland also, SURELY a more gregarious & perhaps more charming choice is preferable to engage the patrons. It was a good day, a good meal with great company, fix the small blemishes if you want 4-5 star rating. Make this an interesting experience, not just a good value meal, raise the bar & people will be compelled to return, not certain we will. Cheers. See less
