Delicious! I had the Mushroom medley and my partner had the Brisket sandwich. The back patio is delightfully green and clean, and the coffee hits the spot. Parents: this place has a a little playhouse out back, multiple high chairs, and a comfortable change table for your kiddos in nappies. Plus, being right next to the station means you get to see trains come and go! See less

Brilliant cafe! Possibly the nicest and most hospitable staff in Melbourne! We had a huge group and a lot of needy requests and they were completely unfazed, providing a service that was above and beyond! The food is great too! Highly recommend the beef brisket roll or the mushrooms on toast. Try a hot chocolate too, they're great! YUM! See less

Such a wonderful place to have brunch. Not only is the food delicious, but the staff are so kind and welcoming and the vibes???? Immaculate. I think this will be my new go-to local cafe. I loved sitting out in the garden near the veggies and under the fig tree. When my friend and I said we’d never tried figs before the waiter plucked some off, washed them and gave them to us to try! Keep up the fab work. I’ll be back ASAP! See less

Haven't been to Fig since it re-opened with new owners, and it did not disappoint! Great vibe, great staff & delicious food. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. Really friendly and welcoming staff and the coffee was perfect. The courtyard out the back is simply stunning - a real pleasure to sit in and while away the time. Highly recommend. See less

I visited the lovely Fig and Walnut on Saturday and what a lovely surprise. All the buzz about this place is true. Great service - they were very busy but the staff took the time for a chat and made us feel very welcome. The food was exceptional and the coffee was spot on. The gorgeous courtyard a must see. Fantastic cafe! Staff are very friendly and attentive. Quality of food is great, decor is very relaxing and the courtyard out back is great. Of all cafes in the area the staff here are by far the most welcoming, makes for a great place to relax or even grab a quick coffee on the go. I understand that Leo and George have been running the cafe for 5 months, they are really doing a great job! See less

Amazing cafe! The courtyard out the back is beautiful, and shaded just enough to enjoy the sun without any burns. Food was incredible, very flexible with dietary needs. Even the fussy toddler enjoyed! Service was great, really friendly staff who were happy to help. See less
