Intimate, unassuming place that excels in their food. Very good pizza, pasta and salads. I haven’t had other things on their menu. However, I would be very surprised if they weren’t equally as phenomenal. See less

The lasagne is amazing, although the portion size has halved since this place changed owners. The pizza bases are really nice, crispy and textured, but the toppings can be a bit bland. The pastas are the best thing about this place, but it used to be value for money and now it’s not. See less

Simple, delicious Italian dishes at incredibly affordable prices. I live locally and have been eating here since I moved to the area. The food is basic but really tasty, especially the pizzas. The change in ownership hasn't affected the quality of food, which was a concern. This is a local gem that's a refreshing change from all the trendy, over priced, over instagram'd places that are a dime a dozen in Melbourne these days.. See less

I feel one star is even too generous... poorly cooked food and servings that are too small to even be a kids serve. I had the main veal 1 and a main crumbed chicken 2. The veal was tough and tiny and the veggies consisted of 1 piece broccoli, a tiny piece of potato and carrot - all the vegetables tasted like they were cooked a week ago and quickly reheated. The snitz was store brought and nothing special. This was once good Italian food with love and is now terrible food with no soul. I should add that I called to express my disappointment and they did offer to give us a side of vegetables but it was all too late. See less

What happens to a restaurant when a passionate owner sells it to someone who aims to run it as a business only. Passion gone! Food is fine but if you’re an astute consumer you’ll notice the decline in the quality the original owner had. The test? Ask the waitress what’s in the meal, no answer, no knowledge of menu. See less
