Undiscovered gem. Everything looked delicious, so it was hard to decide. I had the white chocolate cake. Loved it! Only problem was the magpies. I suggest you get it to go. See less

This bakery is overpriced in comparison to the quality of their products. After tasting their cakes it is clear they use box cake type flour mixture, the same kind that doughnut sellers use. I recently also bought the rainbow slices of cake, way too much (food)colouring and it was not freshly made on the day. The service was also very unfriendly and I would not give any stars. Obviously there is no other bakery in this end of the world as a lot of people are disillusioned with what is QUALITY, in service and food preparation. See less

Was being served by this nice young lady when one of the co workers (a rather old white lady) started to yell at her in a very aggressive tone. Not a good look for the business but we had pies, really yummy. See less

We frequent this place whenever we have GP appointment . Looks like management changed as we encountered an extremely rude and bad customer service . The staff we dealt with a south Asian lady was curt and just wanted us to leave the place saying nothing vegetarian was available even though there were many. Upon questioning other staff she would come by and say oh it cannot be warmed up ect or sliced up.. I will be avoiding this place hereon ..bad staff and customer service See less

The staff are nice and friendly service with awesome customer skills, dealing with people, who are regularities. Also they service people like army. Ambulance people. Who get a coffee and a bit to eat The meat pies bread are awesome. See less

I purchased two apple crumbles there this week, paid an extortionate amount for them, then discovered they were very heavy on doughy pasty and the apple filling too scant to be called filling. cannot recommend. See less

The most expensive bakery in Canberra. The quality is high and its made on the premises, but we live close and don't go because its SO overpriced. Many bakeries have equally lovely cakes/bread/pies that cost far less. I don't understand why they charge crazy prices. See less

The bakery like some other shops at Garran Place are terribly overpriced. The price for a standard bread loaf is $6.50 and I purchased a mediocre apple-turnover. The proud price was $6.50. I get a better apple-turnover from Coles in either Curtin or Woden and the price is $2.20 only. Beside the overpriced bakery goods the service is unfriendly. People are mad to pay for overpriced items. It is the same with the next door 'friendly' neighbourhood grocery shop charging three times the price one pays somewhere else. The shops at Garran Place with the exception of the butcher are just a rip off. See less

Rude, short tempered customer service and the cookies (Like their attitude) were stale; cookies Im pretty sure they’ve bought from coles and repurposed under an illusion of “baked today in store” and sold for double the price. Thanks for taking my money and spitting in my face. See less

The older staff are very rude and everything seems to be so difficult like asking to have your cakes put in seperate bags. And don’t ask them if they can make birthday cakes allergy free. They’ll just tell to go to a shop that does that as they have no desire to help you. Never going back See less
