Must have copped George on a bad day. Encountered a very aggressive and ignorant bloke.If you are going to sell fish then you have to be honest. Your butterfish was not mullaway it was hake. Your flake from W.A. was freshly frozen not just fresh. This little encounter was memorable. 9/10 for the product. See less

We bought Hamburgers with the lot , potato cakes , crab sticks , dim sims and chips The Hamburgers were 10/10 and were absolutely awesome and were probaly the best I've had in a very very long time and I mean since about 1987 The potato cakes and crab sticks were both a good size also 10/10 and the chips and dim sims being the same Well done 👏 👍 👌 See less

Probably the best fish and chips i have found in the region. Multiple options for the ways fish or prawns are cooked with great atmosphere amongst staff and customers. Nearly every nighttime visit the shop has consistently had local people flowing in and out which by itself is a good recommendation. If you like your fish grilled as we do, ask about the various options. We have tried 3 and all have been good. Sometimes up to a twenty minute wait after ordering because of the volume of customers but worth the wait. Tonight I purchased grilled king prawns for our fussy mum and she loved them. See less

Fantastic fish and chips and great people. There seem to be a couple of people marking them down for being rude... Definitely not in my experience. They do seem to enjoy a bit of a banter which could be misconstrued if it's something you're not accustomed to. See less

I was paying by credit card, and the owner expected me to tap without seeing the amount he'd entered into the credit card machine. When I asked to see it, he said, "Do you think I'm trying to swindle you?". I explained that as a matter of good practice, I always see the amount before tapping. Otherwise, you're "signing a blank cheque". He made a simple request into a very awkward customer service experience. 1 star. Would be reluctant to try this shop again. See less

We had king prawns with an avacado and mango salad for dinner tonight. I bought the prawns from George and they were the best I have ever had. It's wonderful to be able to buy such fresh seafood so far from the ocean. Thanks George and family, I will be back for more next time we feel like a special treat. See less

You know how sometimes U go to mums and your not really hungry but you eat anyways ! Well this is exactly that ! Delicious food I grabbed myself a Suv Lamb cheese alittle bit light on the garlic sauce but that's Oki !! Situational awareness is important in the field ! The batter and goodies used to fry bring it well inside the top 20 !!!! Great customer service to Onion rings were amazing !! Underpriced even ! 10/ $3.50 when they are that good !!! Chips were chunky and on point for takeaway Full and satisfied fish n chip usually only go one of two ways Really good or really bad and this is really really good ! This lil town has a gem of a fish n chip shop Keep stacking that fridge with pride George ! Keep doing as u doing Il be back !!!! 🤩🤩 See less
