The chips were good however everything else was terrible and over priced.. The batter just feel off every piece of calamari. The flake had a tiny bit of fish inside oily and rediculiously thick batter and the potato cakes tasted horrible. We ended up eating the chips and throwing the rest away. See less

The best and most reasonably priced fish and chips, hamburgers and steak sandwiches that I know of in Geelong. I particularly like George's potato cakes. They are huge and just the right texture and thickness. Love George's hamburgers which are always made in a way that you can eat them without the fear that bits and pieces will fall out. They are a meal on their own as a good hamburger should be. I have always found the service to be efficient and friendly. I highly recommend George's Seafood. See less

First tip of George's seafood, get the custard puffs. Due to the pandemic I've been doing the uber eats thing and I've ordered from George's a few times before making this review. They may have the best Chip Shop burgers in Victoria. Never dry, never stingy on fillings. Just a hefty burger, and a decent price The chips are always crispy on the outside, light and fluffy inside. The Flake is perfectly cooked, with a light batter coating, enough to cover the fish, but not so much that it feels like I'm just eating batter. Really decent drink selection, try some of the interesting fruit "lemonades" (not carbonated sugar water, just really well done juice combos). And the custard puffs. They're so good, I'm considering quitting the gym, and just going full diabetes. Would happily give 6 stars if that was a thing See less

I love Georges Seafood and have never had a bad meal there. George cares about his customers and the food he makes so everything is always delicious. Steak sandwiches, burgers and souvlakis are the best in Geelong. Fish and chips and battered snacks always 10/10 because the oil is fresh and well drained so everything tastes great. Fantastic range of choices for snacks. Big servings. Well priced. I tried George’s wife’s home made gravy today and it is the BEST so yummy. So much to choose from I always find something new to enjoy! :) See less

Best steak sandwiches in Geelong! Beautifully cooked so tender and juicy, and generously sized just like the yummy chicken schnitzel burger my partner bought which was absolutely huge and very tasty. The potato cakes were also huge, the right amount of crunch then fluffy centre and not too oily. George is a lovely friendly fellow and I'm so glad I've found his shop - I went there yesterday for the first time, and had to go back today for another steak sandwich it was just so good! George even remembered my partner doesn't like tomato sauce for today's order. :) See less
