Went here last Saturday night after a person at work recommended it. The food was amazing, the staff where friendly, the price was very reasonable as well. I have honestly told everyone I know to visit this place and I will continue to do so. Will 100% be going back. See less

Nice restaurant, not as expensive as $$$ suggests! The cheese wheel dishes were a big hit and everyone on my table ordered one - it was fun to watch a giant cheese wheel set on fire and see the pasta made infront of us. A novel idea and the chef was really nice and made it entertaining. See less

I know people come for the cheese-wheel pasta, but as a non-cheese fanatic, let me tell you how incredible the gnocchi is also! I order it every time and never lets me down. Staff affable, setting quaint, food scrumptious! We will be back. See less

I was highly impressed with the food and service. The small meals are a large entree size. I chose the Calamari Broccoli Fritti, which was superb. My wife selected Insalata Caprese (mozzarella and tomato salad) with grilled chicken added. It was as good as any we tried in Italy - and we tried a lot! Turns out the head chef and owner is Italian and loves creating new and usual Italian dishes. The wine list was excellent as well. We'll need a few return visits to work our way through the whole menu! PS It's only $ to $$ on price, not $$$, so enjoy high quality at a sensible price. See less

Great food, wine, service and company. WELL DONE TEAM. We know how difficult it has been with Covid over the past 2 yesrs and with current density limits. It was refreshing to NOT hear the ringing of food delivery devices going off ever 2 minites or see a flurry of drivers with helmets comjng and going to collect food for those not willing to make the effort to come out to eat. Good on you Godi la Vita for not giving into this. Keep it food delivery system free and we will be back many times over with many others. Thankyou Kostas See less

We made a last minute booking and they managed to squeeze us in even though they were busy. The food was amazing. The garlic bread was cheesy and delicious. I had the salmon and when they open up the parchment paper at the table this aroma of seasoning was just amazing. All the rest of the food was also delicious. Their signiture cocktail is one of the best I have had, a must try. See less

Delicious food! We've come before and had the same experience but tried some different dishes last night and we're not disappointed we came back. The original deep-dish pizza I had was quite an experience, more like a pizza-pie than a pizza, great for those that love cheese! The thin crust pizza I had this time was fantastic, the base was soft and tasty like a focaccia and made the toppings sing. Will be back again! See less

We were lucky enough to get a table without a booking. We had the parmesan cheese wheel pasta, which was their specialty, and a deep dish pizza. The pasta was absolutely delicious and so fragrant that we could smell it from several tables away. It was also surprisingly filling, given the seemingly small portion. The deep dish pizza was very rich and filled with mozzarella, so pics of the cheese pull were a must. The theatrics of the chef lighting the cheese wheel on fire and mixing the pasta in it certainly added to the experience. For me, the highlight was the friendly service from the only floor staff working that evening. It was a packed Tuesday, with big groups of diners but I could see her looking after everyone with the same amount of care, attention and grace. For my money, it was a very pleasant experience. Absolutely loved everything about this place. The ambience, the service and ofcourse the food. My friends and I ordered a few starters, the famous cheese wheel pasta, deep dish pizza and 2 desserts and everything was on point! So much flavour. The highlight was definitely the cheese wheel pasta! The best food I've had in a long time. If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would! See less

Finally made it here. It's been on my list for a while now and it was absolutely incredible. Drinks and starters were really good. But let's get to the main event, Meat Lovers Deep Dish Pizza - oh my goodness, easily the best I've had and the Pecorino Cheese Wheel Pasta is definitely one of the best pastas ever, cheesy, sweet and nutty, what a masterpiece. I could eat that pasta everyday for the rest of my life. Tried the Fried Raviolo dessert with cheese and honey, while I enjoyed it, I thought a different cheese like ricotta would be better but definitely not disappointing. Beautiful interiors, great ambience and music selection and the friendliest FOH and Chef. Must visit for sure and I'll be back hopefully soon. See less

Super impressed with the cheese pasta and deep pan pizza! Both were extremely flavorsome and cheesy, truly for lovers of cheese. The pizza crust is soft but crispy on the edges, and the base is loaded with cheese just great. The serving size of just the two was easily enough for three and then some. If you come for lunch just be aware that the deep pan pizzas are on the dinner menu (but they’ll make it for you order it). 100% would come back any day. See less

I called in the morning to book a table and didn’t leave a message but they called me back anyway which was my first point of impression. The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous. I felt like I was on an Italian promenade while I sat at my table. The cheesy garlic loaf was WOW - I had two slices and the only mistake I had eating two slices was that I was already full by the time my meal arrived! The bread came with some chili dip that I actually ate by the spoonful lmao. I had gnocchi rosè and it was perfect. Fluffy pillows of deliciousness. The service here was also impeccable - always standing by to check if you’re all sorted and water top ups and smiling faces. I will come back for a cheese wheel pasta next time. Great pasta and Mediterranean food on King William Road. We parked on Mitchell street with a short walk to the restaurant. Food options, specials and range was good. Their flagship dishes are the cheese wheel pastas, it’s a nice show to see the cheese lit up, melted and then stirred throughout the pasta. Service was excellent, prices are a little dear but you’d expect that given the location and area. Would go again to try more cheese wheel dishes! See less

Absolutely sensational!! 5 stars for service & 5 stars for food. From the moment we walked in we loved the elegant atmosphere here. The service was friendly, warm and attentive. The garlic bread is the best I’ve ever had, so crispy and tasty with cheese on it too. Also the best Arancini balls I’ve ever had, they were delicious. We ordered broccoli pizza with cashews and at first thought the cashews seemed weird but they tasted good on the pizza! The cocktails were a hit. Garlic broccoli as a side was nice and the cheese wheel pasta was worth every mouthful! The deep pan pizza with 1 kg cheese was heavenly. We cannot wait to go back again. This place was recommended to me and I highly recommend it if you like to enjoy good quality food. Great location with easy parking on the side streets. See less
