One of the best burger place in Canberra. I love their beef burgers, one of the unique taste, handmade by the owner, very tender, juicy and taste really good. I wish there will be more than one stores in Canberra rather than drive all the way to Woden from the north side of Canberra. See less

I had the spicy cheese kransky which was the worse hotdog ever. It only had 2 tiny skerries of sun-dried tomato on it and a little cheese that did not have any flavour (definitely not cheddar cheese), with the Mayo drizzled across it. I think this changed owners. I used to get a delicious vege hot dog from this place. I went today, and what i got looked nothing like the order I used to have. There was weird green sauce and an apparently uncooked vego snag (not even warm). Disgusting and inedible. I threw it in the bin after one small bite. Went to Zambrero instead, which is always good. Recently bought a crepe from there and has made me really sick (vomiting and nausea, stomach pains). It was saturated in mayo and they didn’t wash the lettuce. Won’t be going back ever. See less

Honestly since they changed from Snag Stand to Gourmet House the quality of food has dropped significantly. I think I got food poisoning from one of their American Classic hotdogs because the frankfurter was grossly undercooked. That said I still return often for their chilli cheese/kransky fries. While the hotdogs themselves are mildly overpriced and substandard quality the sides are worth a look. Haven't delved too much into the crepes and never ordered burgers from there so I can't speak as to their quality. See less

Ordered two crapes one was very nice the other was missing 3 of the 4 toppings. Ordered there twice now both times have messed up the order big time, and very unhelpful over the phone trying to fix the problem. See less

I have traveled to Canberra from Brisbane to visit my friend and he recommended me to try this shop. The food was fresh and rich and juicy! I love the burger and the chips, they was the perfect match! Best ever! No surprise the service as good as the food can’t complain , the food ready in 10 minutes hot and fresh, and the last thing I want to do after I finish the meal is lick my fingers! Try it out, highly recommend! Will never know how good it is until you eat it ! See less

Ok. Where to start? Make sure you bring an umbrella or a bucket for the amount of liquid that comes out of the burger. Both my fiance's and my burger literally dripped from start to finish. Chips were undercooked and the gravy had more lumps than cottage cheese. See less

Very well made, fresh, incredibly tasty burger (Swiss Mushroom burger). The chips were also on point, hot and crisp on the outside. Service was great, friendly and quick. The meal was ready within a very good time frame for freshly made food. All up a resoundingly positive experience. See less
