Been getting take aways from here for a few years and feel the quality has gone downhill. Ordered lamb rogan josh and veg biryani - lamb medium curry had no spice and veg biryani was like Uncle Bens mexican rice from the microwave bag. See less

Want to be upfront and say we did not eat here but my one star review (I feel) is warranted for the customer service alone. Called at 1:38pm today to ask what delivery prices were to my area (ordering for my daughter's birthday dinner as a takeaway of about 4 curries and a coupleof sides). The gentleman I spoke with told me delivery prices and said they could deliver today no later than 7pm. I advised I would call back after 5pm to open which he indicated he understoodm called back after 5pm to be told "we won't deliver tonight". Pretty disappointed but based off the low star reviews relating to customer service, unfortunately they have lived up to their reputation. I understand mistakes can happen but just wanted to post this to make people aware that they have some misinformation listed. Their pamphlet also says order online. You Lite rally cannot order online. See less

Sadly, how things have changed. This used to be one of the best Indian restaurants on the southside. However, last Saturday night's visit was a disaster - under-cooked Naan, medium curry that had no heat at all (a nice stew), staff who had absolutely no clue of how to waitress. Such a disappointment. We have been coming here often for about the last 15 years, but I think it's unlikely we'll return for quite some time. See less

I’ve been ordering take away from the Grand Taj for years. Every so often we think let’s try somewhere new for something different. To date we have not found a better Indian takeaway and are often left disappointed with food from other restaurants. The food at Grand Taj is consistently good and very tasty. I rate it as the best in Brisbane. Love your work guys, keep it up!! See less

I was very disappointed to see both of your front of house staff flouting the Queensland Health mandate to wear masks when inside public places during our lock down. When I walked past Friday night they were not socially distancing either. I don't like my business to be closed down and am surprised you don't care about yours. At least your customers were smart enough to wear masks. See less

I ordered for Chicken Lahori large meal, which comes with rice & nan. The food tasted really good. Quantity was sufficient as well. However the service was not up to the mark. Both the men who came to serve me were not really interested and pretty much just want to get over with it. If they can up the game in terms of service, I’m sure they owner will make good money. I’ll go there again as I’m just went for takeaway. See less

Have been coming here for years and every time it's always so flavoursome, full of spices and satisfying!! The naan's are always nice and soft without being oily . This place is consistent every single time and keeps me coming back even though its a 20 minute drive from my home!!! See less

My husband ordered takeaway from here late Wednesday night and the food was amazing! We had the butter chicken, lamb korma, rogan josh and a chicken curry (can't remember the name) all of the dishes were so flavoursome and honestly the best Indian we have ever had. Thank you for a lovely meal, next time we are in Brisbane we will definitely come back. See less

I love my Indian food and this is one of the best ones around. It says a lot these days when the restaurant has been around for many years - happy to say I have been a loyal customer for many years and the whole family loves it. Real authentic food and generous portion size.Not that excessively sweet butter chicken you find at many other places. Butter chicken here tastes really amazing with awesomely cooked rice. Lunch deal great value for money. The owner is very friendly and great service. See less
