We ordered some smoothies and rolls.Everything was average. This place is a bit overrated. See less

It’s so hard to write this review and not swear. That coral trout and prawn pie was so f’n good. Amazingly crunchy but soft flaky pastry with a velvety inside of chunks of trout, magical prawns and veg throughout. Hey, free tomato sauce too….the fridge full of colourful quiches, vanilla slice and take home salads will be something I’ll be working my way through during my PD holiday. Great fit out too. See less

Our almond croissant was stale, granted we bought it after lunch but at that price point you expect either fresh croissants throughout the day or none at all. The praline was ok, middle of croissant very moist and too sweet as if it had been drowned in sugar syrup. Nonetheless it’s a nice vibe with the outside tables on the patio full when we visited. Highly over-rated. Lovely but there are certainly better bakeries. This is a very popular bakery for both locals and tourists alike. There are lots of reviews saying things like “best bakery in the world” and “best bakery ever” - this is far from true. Prices: $$ Staff: Friendly enough Menu: Good choice of options. Food: Found the food to be pretty average. Croissant was nice but nothing special. It was not squashed like some places do. And the bacon and egg was nice but a bit oily. Was tasty, but had a bit to much butter and pepper taste. Tables: Were clean. Atmosphere: Was busy. Lots of friendly faces. Pros: Good location, was lots of seating. Cons: Some food was on the top of the counter and uncovered. Staff were taking orders and speaking over this food. Somewhat unsafe. Highly over-rated. Covid-19 friendly: Did not ask us to check in. Would we go there again: No. Would I recommend you go: Give it a go, but certainly don’t expect it to be “the best” See less

I had to try the coral trout and prawn pie after reading all the good reviews, and it lived up to expectations! The pastry was soft and flaky, and the filling was generous and full of flavor. See less

Wow, honestly had one of the best Bacon & Egg Rolls ever here. The coffee was alright but it can't top their standard B&E, the roll really makes it plus they use 2 eggs and good bacon. Can't recommend trying it out enough. See less

Went here based on reviews and it didn’t disappoint. Got it for takeaway. Everything tasted fresh and it was tasty. The pie was nice and warm but would’ve been even nicer with some sauce with it. Overall pretty happy with what I’ve tried and the people were nice See less

Great bakery with everything baked on the premises each day. Highlight was the specialty coral trout and prawn pie. Good chunks of fish and prawn wrapped in an excellent pastry shell! Had the meat pie on another day (trout/prawn was sold out) and this was a cracker also. Pulled beef slow cooked to a deep rich flavour. My only criticism which is one really is the portions sizes are huge. We shared the fish pie and my vanilla slice could have feed three. Almond croissant even more so. Love my bakery good so it tragic not to eat it all at the time. See less
