Been here twice, the first time it was okay but nothing special. They have very limited vegetarian options and the vegetarian yaki udon I got had barely any variety of vegetables, just heaps of cabbage. The second time going back I went with a group of friends, and they staff were rude. And the food was very average, probably won’t go back again.

Delicious! I bought the yaki udon dish takeaway and it was amazing, perfectly cooked and great flavours. It was like getting food from a professional fancy japanese restaurant.

Service was quick and good. Food was ok. My wife and I both got separate dishes and both weren't bad, but wasn't great either. I wouldn't rush back but would go there if I felt like Japanese food.

Great menu, always good quality, friendly service, a comfortable place to be, all with reasonable prices. If you like Japanese food, Hachi Hachi Rolleston is highly recommended.

Well worth the price for the sushi. Veru high quality and polite staff. I had terriyaki chicken sushi and good. If your parents a disappointed in you, spend their money here.

Had dinner with friends. The food was verrry good! Presentations were beautiful! Service was Awesome!!! Highly recommend this place. A Bonus for me besides my great stay in Rolleston!

Disappointed. They had posters up for a spicy soup for a price and when I ordered it they said oh he price has gone up. But they still had it advertised as the lower price. They should have honoured what they still had advertised. Its the principle of the thing, so I took my money elsewhere.

Excellent place to stop for Lunch. We both got the Don bowls are the price for lunch was great. The size of the meals was really good too. Service was good and the food arrived in great time. We will definitely go back as I enjoyed it so much. Recommend this for your next lunch stop.
