Good, no-nonense, old-fashioned fish & chippery. Best we've tried on the Peninsula. Tastes great, excellent service - and many good places nearby to take the food to eat! (We like the wall facing the ocean, on the road between McCrae and Dromana). Note CASH ONLY, but that's part of the charm of this nice family-run business. See less

Good old fashion, high quality fish and chips! Cash only, no card facilities. Service is friendly and fast, I was surprised how quick our order for four people was turned around. No fried fish, only battered, but the fish is good size, fresh and the batter is light. Chips, scallops, calamari were all good. If this place can add fried fish and maybe some salads it would be the icing on the cake. Just lacking some variety, but what they do, they do really well and you won't be disappointed See less

Simple but delicious fish and chips. Food is cooked right in front of you after you order. Fish was fresh and filleted in front of you. Cheeseburger was juicy and tasty. Perfect feed after going to the Enchanted adventure garden. Get in early as their fish selection gets sold out quickly. Prices are cheap. Make sure to bring cash as no eftpos. See less

Best burger on the peninsular. The owner is a real character. This place is like the fish & chop shop of old. Very minimalistic, home made patties, everything made when you order. Depending on how busy they are. I've had everything made fresh within 5 minutes. Chips are really good. Fresh oil. Great pricing too. Ordered 2 burgers (1 w egg & pineapple, 1 with bacon & pinapple) plus min chips $6. Total was $23. They add lettuce and sauce by default. I go here at least once a week See less

A little gem not widely known, The potato cakes here are the best we have had in years! We are so happy they are open again :) Do yourself a favour and try it! Doesent look like much but the service and old school feel make.you feel at home. The prices are also extremely reasonable more so than other shops. It is cash only and no phone orders so come prepared you won't be disappointed. See less
