We love visiting the Hastings Bakery - the photo does not do it justice. The bread, buns ,slices are fresh and delicious. The pastries are in a great class of their own. I called in here to get a few pies but ended up walking out due to the small size of the pies compared to the $6 price tag that was on them, Im sure they were nice pies but not right for me this time. See less

Really nice coffee in Hastings with such an amazing friendly lady at cashier/Barista....shame I couldn't get anything else and best part is that they accept cards and it makes it so easy. Be careful guy's they close just by/before 5pm so I missed out on tasting other savouries which they have to offer,but I will return soon....Xx See less

Used to a real regular until the new owners purchased the shop Whatever happened to looking after your regulars, bring back the spinach quiches and I might come back I know I'm not the only one who is put off by this "New owner attitude" See less

So incredibly mpressed with this bakery. Can't wait to go back. Went there with my little ones and was blown away by the quality of everything we tried. Bread is amazing, pies/quiches were lovely, full of flavour. And the carrot cake... wow. We bought one to share with family and it was one of the best any of us had ever tasted. Not to mention great value for money. On top of that, the owners were absolutely lovely. Friendly, warm service. How anyone could give this bakery less than 5 stars is beyond me. As i said, can't wait to be out of bread so I can go back and get more. And more pies. And more carrot cake. A gem of Hastings!! See less
