Lovely decor, very bright, vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. The prices are about on par with what you would expect to pay in the city, but the quality definitely lives up to the price, I had a standard chicken burrito, it was absolutely delicious. Would and will definitely visit again 👌🏼 See less

The staff here is very friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. However, the food is hardly a representation of authentic Mexican cuisine. It has clearly been adapted for an audience that is unfamiliar with the rich taste of Mexican food. The restaurant is a doable option to grab a bite to eat, but for a real, fresh Mexican experience, it is disappointing. See less

What an absolute gem! First time dining at Hecho en Mexico and absolutely loved the experience. Great service, great atmosphere and the freshest ingredients. → Ordered the Classic Burrito and Tacos (Chicken & Fish). Flavours were delicious and authentic! You can really taste the difference between a place like Hecho en Mexico and generic Mexican food-chains! → The small burrito was a bit too small for my liking - next time, I'll definitely upgrade to the regular size. → Staff were very friendly and attentive. Didn't have a booking but staff were helpful in finding us a table. → Atmosphere was great. Spacious restaurant, lots of tables and great decor. See less

Street Style Corn - Fish, Chorizo and Pork Tacos - Chilli Con Carne This is a real local gem that definitely hits the spot when you’re craving Mexican. Before writing this review I would like to let you know that I used to work as a chef in Mexican restaurant. I don't actually remember the exact month of my visit, The food is amazing but when I came home and checked my invoice I was over charged $5. Later I called them and asked for it, They suggested come back again to use those credit. I ordered food couple of hours ago from UberEats, The food was disasters I ordered smoked stuffed Jalapeno poppers turned out completely burnt out and nothing stuffed. The other item with Nachos with port topping. The Nachos aren't good they are really hard to chew I am pretty sure they aren't fried well I can feel the raw taste in the Nachos and topping is a mess. I am totally disappointed with them twice. I called the restaurant the lady over the phone apologised and said she could refund the money. but she tried saying everything is good with our chef and I trust you. I totally disappointed with the food. See less

Burritos are nice and full and service is good. The Yarraville venue is a bit better then the Hecho en Mexico in Moonee Ponds, with more indoor area and a nice outdoor courtyard. Meals between both ventures are consistent. Mocktails are a bit pricey. Overall pleasant experience. See less
