If you are hungry, please do yourself a favor grab a sandwich or something from IGA next door- not only its 10 times cheaper but also you won't need spend next 3 days in a toilet. See less

A new find, in Campbell shops, with indoor and outside seating. We enjoyed our breakfasts, avocado toast with poached eggs, and poached eggs, toast and bacon. Serving sizes are generous, and the eggs runny, with nice toast. Service is pleasant, and Hello seems very popular. We enjoyed ourselves...oh, and the coffee was good. See less

Good cafe with quick service that serves breakfast and lunch. There is a good variety on the menu as well as a very enticing specials board. Large drinks menu also. Meals are well balanced - not too heavy or light and have a good balance of meat and salad. The fish of the day at the time of visit was pan fried Blue Granadier with sweet potato chips and salad - a generous serve that left you satisfied, not leaving you full or wanting. There are wonderful muffins and Portuguese tarts at the counter to have with your coffee or to go. Coffee is good and staff are friendly and attentive. There is good parking in the vacinity. See less

Excellent food and service. It appears to be a popular spot with the locals. Well worth dropping in if you are in the area. The menu is standard modern style. An interesting twist is that you can buy farm fresh eggs at the door. I can't offer an opinion on them other than they look great and the eggs I had to eat were first class. See less

Good honest and easy food with fast service. Friendly hosts and not overpriced. Only let down by the busy Campbell shops carpark which can be impossible at certain times - especially the peak lunch hour. See less

Hello Cafe... a delightful and professional team... food always good... this family owned cafe has the heart of Canberra and the Australian spirit that I found charming... one of the reasons that I immigrated to my new home... the spirit of the people, the soulful cooking and the charm of the community. I ordered catering for an all day workshop from Hello Cafe, the food, service and professional manner was outstanding. Every delivery arrived on time and we were greeted with wonderful staff. The Hello Cafe has incredibly friendly staff. I work as a taxi driver, and come in when it's a little quiet and I'm in the area. They always greet me, and make me feel welcome. Even if I'm in a rough mood, or feeling a little tired, the friendliness of the staff never fails to cheer me up. Great food, and good coffee, absolutely reccomend you check them out if you haven't before. See less

Came here as a group. Got a big brekkie wrap or something along those lines and oh boy was it delicious. It definitely hit the spot and the coffee they served complemented it very well. I'll being going here again before I leave Canberra. See less

The staff at this cafe today were appalling. It was a quiet Saturday morning and they had three floor staff plus one barista and I waited literally 25 minutes for a small takeaway coffee. They had no idea what was going on. I actually went up to the counter to ask for my money back because I was sick of waiting for my coffee and one of the staff glared at me and pointed at one that she was making and said " This is it" and I reluctantly took it. She then told me that it took a long time because there were lots of people waiting before me. There were only two other people waiting for takeaway coffees, and I told her as much... As I was leaving she then told me to "be careful on the road" which I took to be some kind of weird threat. The floor was also incredibly dirty with bits of food and also detritus from outside everywhere. I had been thinking of going there for breakfast but there is no way I will ever step foot in there again, and I live in Campbell. Overall, a really, really poor experience. I hated it. See less

Daughter and Granddaughter ordered a simple plate of Pancakes - over an hour later the waitress tells us it'll be another 10-15. After another 15 minutes I went in to say we are leaving and saw the waitress (not the kitchen staff) mixing a batch. Giving them benefit of the doubt we waited further still. After an hour and a half from when we arrived they came out - they could eat the fruit and icecream but the pancakes were inedible. I don't care if they are busy or not - cafes are meant to maintain a standard of service and food quality regardless. People who arrived 30 minutes after us were receiving their food - to keep a four year old waiting that long (or anyone for that matter) is atrocious. Never again! See less
