This is one of my very favourite local cafes situated in within Belconnen Markets. The dishes are colourful and fresh with my favourites being beef and vegetable soup and combination chow mien. Their laksa is great too. I always look forward to a hearty meal here after a long run on the weekend. Don’t think I have ever been disappointed. Indoor and outdoor seating available and a warm cup of tea always complimentary. The soy chicken and roast duck are a real treat. I love the duck, rice and vegetables dish here as they specialise in duck. You can also purchase duck on its own and take it away to eat at home with your own food. This is the place to go for your camera noodle (especially laksa) fix. Best laksa in Canberra we have come across so far. We also buy their take away roast pork, duck and char siu offerings and have always been happy. See less

Beautiful duck laksa! You know a place is good when it's packed! I'd been past this place several times over the past few years, dismissing it as "just another hole in the wall". Oh, how wrong I was! There seems to ba a lot of variety here so I'm looking forward to trying more things in the near future! Just one minor thing is that the laksa can afford to have more chili but that's just a matter of personal preference. The laksa was great anyhow... See less

Reminiscent of a typical China Town eatery - nothing fancy but has clean tables, friendly and fast service. We had to try the mixed roasted meats which were very satisfying. The special fried rice was one of the best we've had in years. Highly recommend a visit. See less

Located at the Belconnen Market, this restaurant is popular for a quick bowl of hot soup noodles or any roast dishes. Food is tasty and one gets friendly smiling service, unlike other Chinese restaurants in Canberra. They also make coffee, so you can get everything in one place. Prices are decent too. I enjoy my roast duck/pork egg noodles here and my friends love the beef brisket noodles as the tender meat just melts in your mouth. Good place to have lunch on Market opening days. See less
