I've eaten here a handfull of times over the last 7 years and for the most part it's pretty hit or miss. And most of the time - it's a miss. Between soggy chips and watery gravy I find myself picking up food elsewhere in the area. On the other hand the food is pretty cheap compared to other charcoal places, although most of the menu items are low in quality and made with very cheap ingredients. A lot of stuff is frozen including the nuggets. A lot of the staff are also very young people with little to no customer service. It didn't used to bother me but now it's just a drag to even order here. I hate to talk negative about local businesses but I just had to say me peace about it. See less

Disgraceful service. potato cakes and dim sims cold. asked for salt 2 times didn't get any. person ordered 5 minutes after me and got theirs first. never will I go back to that shop. I would give it a zero star, but I can't. See less

Nice quick service. Plenty of food ready to go. Chips were hot and crunchy with nice salt, Fried chicken had a reasonable crunch. Will go again. See less

SALMONELLA ALLERT Tried calling but they wouldn’t answer their phones. Probably inundated with sick people calling in about the salad that had gone off. Yes, the chicken and avocado salad was off. Inedible and putrid. Not the first time I’ve had bad food and service here unfortunately. Disgusting and dangerous serving that and not doing anything about it. For once I’m glad my kids don’t eat anything that looks like salad. And get this… the staff don’t wear masks and won’t serve customers that don’t wear them LMFAO. Hypocrisy at it’s finest. We’re to believe that they have exemptions but they won’t believe their customers? DHHS will be visiting soon I think. Arrogance is what seems to me to be what fuels this behaviour as they’re so busy, not because they have good food but purely due to the lack of competition. I also bought both fried chicken (received mostly wing pieces) and charcoal chicken - yep both dry. It’s a hit and miss with this place as sometimes it’s alright. My advice, avoid this place, they’ve been like this for years but the poison they served up tonight was the last straw. I will be making a complaint to the council this time. Much cheaper and more delicious fried chicken at Red Rooster around the corner. Even the greasy KFC’s are nicer in my opinion. As for the customer service, the 2 boys were extremely friendly but the arrogant girl that regularly works there and the old angry lady who’s always there were both consistent in being rude and inhospitable. Just ordered chicken and chips. Tub of gravy was tasteless. And off course expensive for small amount. The chicken was a salt lick and drier than a sand dune. The chips were undercooked and salty as ... I will not be returning to this store. I can make way better chicken and chips at home. No thanks See less

Not wearing masks but refuse maskless customers. They won't accept you have an exemption, but we are supposed to believe they have one. Sick people, they honestly need mental help. Afraid of the virus but she was close enough to kiss my mate. I wonder if they kiss the chickens before serving them to customers. I am so disgusted but I am not sure if the owner was present but the manager was. Definitely won't be coming to this circus as long as these clowns are jumping around. I might consider if the manager and her little sidekick toy boy left the business. I will not let anyone disrespect anyone in my presence. We don't discriminate with or without masks. Remember, we fought for your business to stay open during lockdowns, not the covid pandemic believers. You are fighting those that are fighting for your rights to operate your business successfully. I put an order through Menulog, and they missed part of my order when delivered. Once I called them and explained the issue to the manager, she very kindy apologised and instead of just sending me the missing item, she sent me the whole order again. Very generous and professional service. Food is always tasty and hot. Will definitely order again. See less

Phone ordered chips and gravy, was rudely told that they cant put the gravy ontop of the chips and i can only buy it in a container. Luck was on my side though because after paying $4.20 for a tub of what tasted like water but was clumpier then cat litter with a hint of salt in it i was very pleased that i could avoid the chips being in it. On the other hand chips we're very nice and enjoyed. See less
