Hingston is our go to for our Chinese food, new years eve was very disappointing, waited 1.5 hours for our meals, excuses were always changing. We will give it one more try, if we are not satisfied with will go elsewhere! See less

Been going since they opened up for theb1st time and I was only a child now 28 with my own family 👪 still great taste price has gone up over the years but that's a given due to current world we live in. Two different prices one for take away and one for dine in but doesn't matter great food and great taste and it's local! See less

Absolute time wasters .Poor service, if your getting takeaway just keep calling to see if it's ready don't bother turning up. Told 1 hour wait for takeaway, took an hour and 45 before it was ready, also wasn't notified it was actually ready despite being told I would be, waitress was too busy talking to friend then serving, so add another 10 minutes See less

Have heard from my friends abt this restaurant and today I tried it, and it's the best!! Especially their Hokkian Noodles & Spicy Salt Squid, delicious!! Also, their super big bag crackers only for $3,love it!! Definitely will come back!! 😁👍 See less

Great sized meals. Friendly staff. The dishes we get are also delicious! Wait times for takeaway can be quite long on busy days/ nights but when you love the food you take that into account and order extra early! See less

Hingston is our favourite Chinese restaurant in Darwin. Great chicken and sweet corn soup and combination fried rice, we always order this while we work through the rest of the menu. The duck and mushroom was very good! See less

I don't understand what all the fuss is about. ordered takeaway chillie fried squid, beef black beans, and combination fried rice. the rice was burnt like we had been served the remnants at the bottom. the squid was tough and the batter was hard like it had been refried from having been sitting around for some time and the beef black beans dish was overwhelmingly sweet. I was so looking forward to this from all the great reviews buy this IS NOT AUTHENTIC at all! See less
