Have been a few times now. There is no table service but you have a device to order from, similar to an IPad. Staff greeted us with a friendly service and we were able to stop someone for a question without a hassle. Price is high, but it's normal range for the location. The beef thai salad was amazing... Had it both times and their chia latte... Yum.... See less

A lot of the meals are quite large so we went the French toast with bananas and strawberries and the brekky wrap and they were both delicious and a good size. See less

Good food on bare tables but the noisy atmosphere may turn some people away. We would make it our go-to place if that was fixed, perhaps by some decorous sound baffles, strategically scattered. See less

Love the digital ordering system. The food was incredible. Drinks were okay, ordered the milkshake and it was warm and had no real flavour to it. Staff are friendly but it’s difficult to know who is working there when most staff are dressed in casual clothing. See less

I enjoy the food and coffee here, and the staff are well on their toes. Once the issue is solved, with the technology ordering and the delay between when the customer needs help, I would rate this a lovely place to visit when in Warners bay. See less

Good coffee, food, and location! We had the option of eating inside, alfresco, or takeaway. We chose a takeaway and headed across to the bay. What a lovely spot. See less

Ordered a takeaway BLAT wrap with grilled chicken which took 40 mins to be made. Got back to work to find they didn’t even put any bacon at all on the wrap. Way too long for a takeaway order and if a wait of that length is expected, probably worth mentioning when taking orders. See less

My family and I had breakfast here Saturday morning. I really liked the option of ordering all our food and drinks off the tablet instead of waiting for your order to be taken. Staff were super friendly even though the place was really busy. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Totally recommend this place. See less

Do not get me wrong, I enjoy tech but sometimes I just want a simple menu, not a tablet that I have to check 400 different options as to how I want my eggs and if I want 4+ sugars in my coffee. Something in life are better if humans just do it. Now the food was great and really enjoyed the schnitzel (would recommend it) See less

I had a lovely brunch at Hippo Espresso. The bacon and egg roll filled me completely and I couldn't fit in all my chips. The new system they have with the tablets to order from is amazing, you order the food from it and they bring it to you. You can also use it to call for a waiter and they will come to you. When I visited it was quite busy, however we were able to be seated which was surprising as we didn't have a reservation. Loved my meal and will be back again. See less
