Just had the best lasagne for lunch in the beer garden at The Hope Inn. Wonderful friendly staff and big plans for a new menu and redevelopment/expansion of outdoor areas. Definitely worth a visit See less

Wow! What a pleasure it was this morning be at a lovely venue and beautiful beer garden, hosted by Allirra the manager. I had an unexpected family gathering, last minute. Allirra, went above and beyond to look after not only myself, but made us feel extremely welcomed! Highly recommend, great food great service. Will be back! See less

This is not the hotel I used to love have not been there for a few years thought I would take my friends to have a lovely time was I ever wrong I don’t know who runs the place or took over the pub but it was the worst experience we ever had . Food was horrible and told the staff who tried to apologise was not her fault they all looked inexperienced a lot of shouting and we two of my friends never got their meal until I called someone and told them. We were given a voucher because of this but I would never go there again which is sad as it was one of the best value pubs. Also the food choice is so limited pick up your game it’s a pity to see this place go downhill sorry for the negative review but it might help you to fix this for your business sake Thank you for your response the manager never came to speak to us she was too busy shouting at the staff she might had been stressed but was unprofessional just wanted to mention the guy with the trivia who was excellent made us lough and went out of his way to entertain us See less

Although a little cheap and cheerful inside, their beer garden area is gorgeous, the service was awesome and steak tasted amazing. I am trying to be healthy so asked for extra salad and only a few chips and the chef happily obliged. Two steak meals and bottle of wine for $54... can't go wrong! Will definitely be back See less

Food is rubbish, the kitchen is dirty. I worked two days in this place, everything expired, everything dirty. almost vomited. I cleaned and organized and the completely disorganized manager didn't pay me. completely dishonest. I don't recommend it for your dog. I regretted not calling the police right away. the management deserved to go to jail. See less

I called up today to make a reservation for dinner for my partner and I. The receptionist taking my booking was so helpful. Upon arrival we were met at the door by a waitress who showed us to our table next to the fire. The ambiance was peaceful and had pleasant background music playing. We ordered our meal and a refreshment and sat down at our table where we conversed easily without clatter and banging around us. Our meal turned up after about 15 minutes . The chef did wonders with my crumbed fish and my partners medium to well done porterhouse was perfect. The whole experience was delightful and a memorable experience was ours to savour. My rating would be a 10/10 and I would highly recommend Hope Inn as a fabulous place to eat. See less
