Dined in on a Thursday evening. The atmosphere was pleasant; the food was that was dropped on our table didn't match the menu; the service was rather poor - when we asked why he didn't actually bring what we ordered, the waiter said "I'll be honest, the food here is not authentic." I really dislike leaving negative reviews, but needed to redress the imbalance. We wish we had gone somewhere else. See less

We love the food that Hung cooks. And he usually roams around the tables to make sure you are happy. Try the Prawn Pad Thai but specify exactly how spicy you like it. See less

Very disappointed! Ordered online and when I went to pick it up the order hadn’t even been seen. Ordered was then rushed, the rice was terrible and not even mixed properly and very bland and the Garlic prawn sauce was also very bland. I have eaten there before and always very happy but won’t be returning again. Very poor service and quality of meal See less

Got takeaway - generous portions, however found both chicken and prawns in my 'vegetarian' fried rice, along with black hair that seemed to have been cooked with one of the pieces of chicken. Huge bummer, won't be returning anytime soon. See less

Service is friendly and the food never disappoints. We eat here regularly and are always impressed with how lovely the staff are. The decor is cute and a little bit tacky, but it's so comfortable and it's a Chinese restaurant!! It's what I expect and want! See less

Beautiful people! Their kitchen was closing and they kindly kept it open and let us order. They were friendly and welcoming and they have huge serving sizes! Ginger fish was delicious! If I were living here this place would be a regular. Thank you again. See less

I don't know where that other reviewer ate, but it could not have been House of Zen Belair, or he/she is a competitor! We, family members and friends have eaten there on a number of occasions and everything is perfect. The staff are friendly and inviting, and their service is impeccable! The food is always good, with plenty of variety and the prices are fair and appropriate to the level of the restaurant. We are happy (and do) recommend them and will always go back when we fancy a good, sit down Chinese meal out. See less
