Seems like there's been no light on the drive-though menu board for a while, which could make it hard for some people to order at night. Go next door to GYG for a breakfast burrito instead of the HJ big breakie wrap. It was slightly cheaper and tasted better. See less

Normally stop at McD if I need to feed the little ones. I gave HJ a try and must say that the Burger did not have much taste at all (pulled pork special). If I do go back to a HJ I will probably try the meat free Burger as it may have some flavour. See less

For everyone who has been complaining about the quality of food and customer service: Ever since the store came under new management (around Christmas time), most crew members have been treated poorly and do not enjoy working anymore, the way the crew worked is not longer expectable for the new management (even though they worked perfectly before), and on top of that there have been several instances where customers have been mistreated by the new managers. So basically I'm blaming the new management team. See less

Today I bought a double cheeseburger meal from Hungry jacks at Arana Hills and when I opened my meal I was surprised with a very unsatisfactory burger. I took the burger back only to be laughed at by the staff, I then asked to speak to the manager and was treated with the same attitude and felt I was being ridiculed for my ethnicity. I asked them if they were being racist towards me and the manager smirked and said there was nothing they could do for me as there was no burger bread left in all of Brisbane. I'm not sure why they did not just tell me this when I ordered my meal in the first place. I wasn't offered any solution and was sent away. I chucked the burger in the bin as it looked like it had been tampered with before I had even touched it. I'm not even that concerned about the burger but the way I was made to feel the awful treatment I was given when asking what had happened to my burger. what do you think?any people who ordered from the shop who had the same situation as me? I am disgusted with the way I just witnessed the store/duty manager tonight scream at her staff in front of a store full of customers.. managers are supposed to lead by example not berate and belittle their staff - especially in front of customers! You should be ashamed of yourself and read up on HR laws because what you just did was deplorable! See less

I'd seen some advertising for the sour slushies and the day was hot (insert Robin Williams movie reference 😜)... went in and saw their "new" chicken burgers and decided to go all out. KFC is dead to me now after getting my chicken burger! The Hungry Jacks chicken burger was huge, tasty... hell it LOOKED like the picture and tasted better! The sour slushie.. yum! This hungry jacks really is disgusting because of their workers, the food is sometimes old and foul and that's if you receive what you ordered. Far too many wrong orders and missing items far too many times. Workers are inexperienced when dealing with customers and their legitimate complaints. Will no longer be giving them my service as they aren't worth the trouble anymore. See less

Honestly its an awful place. Wasn't expecting much for a $3.50 burger but man my low expectations were sunk even lower. Basically zero sauce and just horrific. Avoid this place at all costs as you will not get even get a half okay burger. See less

ONCE AGAIN TODAY DEC 1 2021 NO TOILET PAPER IN THE LADIES ROOM NOT A SKERRICK ! Good food, nice staff but really!! For the second time in 6 months the Ladies bathroom had no toilet paper. The access to the toilet paper at this site is extremely difficult to use at the best of times due to its position. It is very very awkward to access the paper, in very awkward position and then twice to be caught out is not good. However the restaurant and staff there are very good. See less

Went in for what was supposed to be a quick bite. Ended up waiting half an hour for food, they tried to give our order to someone else. They let some little girl take one of our drinks right off the counter. And when we finally got to opening the burgers to eat, they weren't what we ordered. Handed the food back without even eating and asked for our money back. No apology given and there was several other people with similar issues while we were there. See less

Drivethru busy, only 2 other customers inside waiting for order. Tool close to 10min to get our order. Booth Tables unsuitable for Dad bods or elderly with medical conditions and normal tables blocked off. Had to place a single chair at end of table for elderly FIL. Tables not cleaned. "NEW" Jack's Fried Chicken burger put together by a "3yr old" it seems and chicken either not thawed out correctly before cooking or not cooked long enough. Not crispy at all and roll soggy. Chips hard unsalted and 30% black ends. See less
