You should try this place. Their Ice cream is very delicious and they also have a lot of other delicious desserts, cakes, etc. There are a few seats inside and outside to dine in as well. Highly recommended!!! See less

The Vegan Ice Cream Sanga from this place is a holy experience. I swear i ascend to another realm every time I order it. This review sounds sarcastic but I mean it 100% genuinely, it is the greatest vegan dessert i have tasted. Probably the best ice-cream I've ever eaten to date. I'm very particular with ice-cream. I don't like those artificial colours. I like the real thing, hand made, with a few ingredients. I only eat raspberry, dark chocolate and coffee ice-cream. And Ice-cream Social Thornbury didn't disappoint. First of all, they had my 3 favourite flavours, which is good. The raspberry texture is light and airy like a chocolate mousse but it is a fruit sorbet. I even had a piece of raspberry stuck between my teeth all afternoon so they use real fruit. It was out of this world. Then the chocolate flavour was called chocolate brownie that day and given the beauty of their actual chocolate brownie, I trusted them and oh my... it was dark, rich, deep, complex, not overly milky or sweet. Perfection. I didn't get a 3rd flavour (because I can see you people judging me behind your screen) so the lovely lady at the counter offered to add a small spoon of coffee ice cream (spelt cawffee) so I could try it because you know, covid. It is made with Seven Seeds coffee. Splendid. I give it 5 stars altogether. I'll be back next week to try that chocolate brownie, and that basque. See you soon! See less

My partner and I got takeaway snacks from here the other day. He chose the chicken and leek pie which he said was good (but a bit too heavy on the mushroom and light on the chicken). I got a vegan sausage roll that tasted like it was made with nuts. It was very meat like (maybe thanks to fennel?) and overall had great flavour and richness. Keen to go back and try some sweet offerings. See less

For a time, I was a person denied easy access to cherry pie. The only time I'd ever tried it was when a wonderful boss baked me not one, but two, when I was leaving work to go back to uni. I told her I'd never tasted it, but had always wanted to try it, and she obliged. Now, I found this place makes Cherry Pie. And even via ubereats, it comes warm with a scoop of cold vanilla icecream. The crust is buttery and crisp, baked just enough to get a little scorched on the edges. It's absolutely stupendously delicious. I thought having easy access to cherry pie would make it feel less special, but... it doesn't. See less
