Hi palmy, We would like to inform you, that from last few days we are getting some fake reviews all those reviews were posted at the same time same hours by same person, who haven't bought anything from us all because of misunderstanding which is totally wrong and fake, for our lovely customers we bought the amazing offer that please come and Try our food for once if you don't like it we not gonna charge you anything for your food. This offer is valid for everyone so you can come in and try it for once then pass the reviews. Because some fake people are passing their wrong judgment on our restaurant, because they never visited in our resturant and say things were under cooked not happy with the service that's why we bought this offer for our customers if you don't like the food we don't charge single cent for that item which you don't like t/c applied. Every single customer is precious for us even if they don't order anything from our restaurant but still they are precious for us like an another customers. We will try our best to satisfy everyone who visit our restaurant. Spent 5 days calling them to be lied to, talked over and disregarded Wanted a refund for food that was wrong and 2 hours late, told to bring 5 day old curry back so that they can make me a new one. Because we all just KEEP disgusting red waste in our fridges for a rainy day. Apparently I was given a 10 percent discount for the hassle but thats a lie via my bank statements, and the manager can teleport between Auckland and palmerston north depending on if you want to make a complaint. They have several fake reviews, can't even make their replies to customers consistent, copy and pasted that they've been under new management for 4 years. Food was filled with food coloring, but I can't judge the flavpur because I don't even know what I got, but it wasn't what I ordered. Literally watched someone else get the wrong food too, and they were the only other ones in the restaurant. Order at your own risk, can't forsee this "business" making it out of the gutter their customer service have dug. See less

If you love being "called out" on fake Google reviews for not being happy with over an hour wait time and excuses like having one chef when they unsurprisingly have no customers, this is the place for you! It was the 14th of Feb, don't blame your customers for not planning that you'd be busier. They'll buy your satisfaction with cokes though, only one can. It's a shame because if the lababdar was authentic as they claimed I wouldn't have minded the extra hour long wait time after not picking up the phone twice then not actually making my order. However I fear after having to return twice, what I recieved was not that. Naan was good. Portion size good too, just really not happy that they scapegoat the blame onto customers, and pull lowlife, pathetic moves to shift their star rating. P.S. if you want your curry back because you think I scammed you, you can have it back- pay postage and I'll pry it out of my fridge. Don't write fake reviews next time yeah? See less

Excellent food did wait for little bit more but that's worth it as me and my partner understand that it's valentines day top of all that's the only indian resturant which is open in the town on Monday's people who post bad comments or hate comments just want to tell them one thing for their knowledge that i am not taking anyone's side but there is something knows as commonsense I think that's what they don't have some of these uneducated people have been lost their commonsense that there is only single front staff and me and mine partner saw that with our own eyes, only single chef working in kitchen for today which is true because front staff already told us there is bit long for wait in preparation of main courses. In the means while front staff attend us very nicely and gave us complimentary drinks which is not freebie that's called "CUSTOMER SERVICE" atleast they were trying there level best to keep interact with customers and serve their food as soon as possible but some people got inpatient and writing wrong comment they show their level of thinking and knowledge that these free food munchers don't know how to respect human beings as I mentioned earlier there is only 1 front staff and 1 chef so that's commonsense that both of them don't have 10 heads 20 arms and 20 hands they were trying there best at there level, but what they can do when they are getting continues calls and Uber and other app orders which were scheduled or should got instructed to make in particular time frame all in short thses inpatient customers should know how to respect the human beings beside finding the new ways to get refunds after eating whole meal and they have other customers too who wait for there orders and we were the last whom they serve but me and my husband was totally satisfied with food service and staff performance hats off to them, just and humble request to those people who make bad comments stop using this social media and review gun you aren't get any publicity after defaming them because these are just a kinder garden tricks to get you're money refund after eating you're meal if you want that meal to be cooked in you're way, you guys should cook at you're place because with all those stupid Comments you aren't getting anything in you're favor you're just defaming whole community and other kiwis too who are really nice with indian people so just a $1 tip for inpatient and abusive customers please cook at you're place if you know more about indian food as compared to Indian chef. BUT I HEARTLY APPRECIATE THE HARD-WORK OF WHOLE STAFF WHO MANAGED EVERYTHING IN SUCH A NICE AND CALMY WAY I DON'T KNOW ABOUT ANYONE ELSE BUT ME AND MY PARTNER WILL DEFINITELY BACK FOR SOME MORE FOOD SUCH NICE PLACE WITH GOOD AND POSITIVE ATTITUDE OF STAFF WHO TREAT EVERYONE FAIRLY WITH RESPCT, THANK YOU INDIAN FLAVOURS TO MAKE OUR VALENTINES DAY REMEMORABLE. Very bad service. We went for dine in and waited an hour. Then we were told it will take 20 -25 minutes for the order to arrive. We were not served starters nor mango lassi. We said it is too late. They offered to deliver the food in 20 minutes so we didn't have to wait. It's been an hour and 10 minutes, the food is still not delivered. Pathetic service. See less

If I could give 0 stars, absolutely would. WORST place to order at, don't bother spending hard earned cash at this "business". I go to order, don't pick up the phone. After calling twice I get some condescending response as if they're doing me a favour by ordering, cutting over what im saying and a general disrespect. I FINALLY manage to place an order, 30 minutes later I turn up and there's no order. They took it, and never cashed the order. "Oh we are busy" If your job is to provide food services, being busy is PART of that job. I am told to come back in half an hour, approximately at closing time, and HOPEFULLY they'll have my order there. I'll post another review of what the food tastes like, as this appalling behaviour warrants its own publicity . Update. Had to wait a FURTHER 15 minutes, and was given the wrong food. When I came back another customer was sitting down and already had their food. I will be contacting you all shortly to remedy this absolutely disgusting experience. To top it all off, you gave me a "complimentary" coke can. It's more of an insult to think you can buy my satisfaction with a measly freebie. See less

Went there today for first time to buy Sweets for Diwali. Chef was more welcoming than the person serving. The pricing for sweets was as it was a luxury place, but I would Rate it average. The food too, the quantity was as serving baby portions, which me and my friend laughed when reached home. Also, the food was below average, but it was only snacks. Can't Comment on mains. Won't be tempted to visit again for sure, but as they represent Indian food - hope, they learn and improve. See less

My partner and I entirely enjoyed our experience at Indian Flavours! It was a cold rainy night and the atmosphere entering this restaurant was warm and inviting. The front of house lady was lovely and was always making sure we were happy and enjoying ourselves, without being a both. The food we got was a entree platter, a meat entree, 2 mains, and cocktails. All of this food was absolutely delicious and we were so full after eating. The portion sizes were great. Everything was clean and tidy. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience. See less

Took a while (approx 45mins) to get the food served but all the 3 main items were delicious (except the samosas, they should try the samosa in the Indian food stall in the Plaza). Especially the "chef's special". A big thump's up to their own sweets (pretty unique for a restaurant to have that). No free parking in day time but Shouldn't be a problem for dinner as it's close to many on street parking. Inside is big and can accommodate big parties. Staff were good and friendly. Will highly recommend. Note: We ordered "medium to hot" but all the food felt mild or sweet. Next time will try hot. See less
