Called in for a meal on a weekday and was pleasantly surprised when greeted by the bar waitress on entry. Good steak, cooked as requested and delivered promptly for a good price. Good atmosphere, comfortable and clean & tidy. I'll be eating here again. See less

I have gone to the Iron horse Cardiff a few times both with mates, and myself!! The food there is absolutely amazing. The staff are a great bunch of people who are very knowledgeable, friendly, and always making you feel welcome! I would strongly suggest to anyone that hasn't been to the Iron Horse to come down and have a feed, few drinks and relax with mates or yourself. Highly recommend it. 5 stars to the Iron Horse, keep up the great work. :-) See less

I have been here a few times with family and as a big group. Food is amazing and the set up and room acoustics mean you can eat as a group and still hear each other! we will definitely continue to return. See less

After a visit with my daughter, who happens to be handicapped I found myself so pleased with how we were both treated. My dear Sara tends to drool a great deal and can only eat gluten free. I asked the manager Rob which gluten free options were available and if we could have extra napkins and be brought Sara seven chicken nuggets and a towel. Not much makes her smile but Rob did. Thanks Rob, you really made our alimony dinner a treat! See less

Great place to eat. Sadly as a celiac I cannot eat the schnitzels but they make them on site and they look and smell amazing. The wife raved about hers for a god 20 minutes so must have been good. See less

It really value for money. I have been around so many places and this is one of the best. It is family oriented, but when the crowd comes, it gets rowdy. A typical weekday crowd, complimentary sauce, free flow i believe. See less

The food at the Iron Horse Inn is superb and very well priced....my wife and I love eating there! Quite offen you see pictures of restaurant meals that look nothing like what is served...but not at Iron Horse...meals are both presented and taste superb! See less
