After we heard rave reviews from all of our friends about how good jack and Jill was, my boyfriend and I decided to eat there.
The service was good, staff needed a bit more knowledge about menu items, atmosphere was good, but tables very close together, so get comfy with your neighboring tables.
Entree's were amazing!
we had the pumpkin focaccia. yum. and reasonably priced.
For mains I had 4 of the 4 offered vegetarian dishes, the:
-Vegetable risotto ball was gluggy rice with a potent blue cheese sauce covering it. 3/5
-omelet had no tast at all to it except for the olive paste on top of it
-curry puffs were delicious, but you can buy ones similar from the frozen section of your local supermarket
-gnocchi, had no sauce , it tasted like the vegetables and gnocchi were boiled in a pot then served with grey water.
I've spoken to a few people and they think that the food was average because we went mid week, but sorry your food should be excellent every day you are open if your charging $35 . See less
