The food was just dipped in soy sauce! Literally tasted oil and sauce, seemed like everything was floating in soy sauce. The chicken vermicelli noodles stinked bad , the smell was sooo strong that couldn't be put in month. I have had in different jackpot branches. This was literally horrible experience, and waste of money.this was the worst experience I have ever had in eating outlets in Brisbane. See less

This has become our regular spot! It's a great place to catch up with friends and family at the last minute since you don't need to make a booking. Love the fast service and delicious food. Have yet to go through the whole menu but definately recommend the hot pot menu and the sizzling dishes! See less

They are really bad experience! I ordered spicy pork belly, but where is the spicy? And I’m angry that there are just such a little portion of pork belly, you can see in the photo! Then I have ordered a steamed spicy chicken,but it came like a soy sauce chicken with no spicy. I will never order again! See less

I usually enjoy jackpot, this was an exception. I ordered 15 mins before closing, which is always dangerous. The kitchen had clearly checked out by this point. I got the vege seafood hotpot and chicken-bok choy with rice. They were both very overcooked. The seafood and chicken was so overdone it was like chewing silicone. The rice was clearly from way early in the day, it was crunchy. Unfortunately they closed so i couldn't ask for a refund. I'm such a thrift i will usually gut it out with a meal i don't enjoy but there was no way here, inedible. See less

This has become my favourite asian/Chinese restaurant in Queensland. It has a great selection and the food is fantastic. However, it can get a little troublesome with parking as there are no dedicated parking spots for this restaurant. See less

Just like Maccas, always sold out of fried ice cream 😂 Staff are very nice and friendly. Went with my class, food was quick out and alright, some foods/drinks being a bit bland, drinks took a while to cone out, came out half way through and as we were finishing up, milk teas then the rest. Most of us got pearl milk tea. IMO the pearl milk tea is sometimes good sometimes not. The potato prawns were interesting, worth it for an experience, but not great enough that I’d buy it again. The sweet buns were surprisingly good, I don’t usually enjoy them. Salt n pepper fried chicken could do with more salt, although other then that was good. The extra steamed rice is a good proportion for it’s price. See less

After dining regularly at Jackpot Westend for the past 10 years, tonight was a complete disappointment. The special fried rice was bland and undercooked and the Kung Po Chicken seemed to be mostly onions and perhaps spinach stalks. One dish would have been forgivable but not two. Perhaps it's a new cook but whatever the story Jackpot lost a regular tonight. :( See less

Before yesterday I visited. Ordered strawberry tea without any ice. She filled half amount of Ice in the cup. What is that? Also spicy fish broth take away is sucks The sweetpotato noodle absorbs all the broth and soup So it was literally just dry noodle when I get home to eat. Your typical and go to Chinese food in West End, food is good and I like the Kiwi Fruit Tea to go with their dishes to cleanse my palate. My favorite is the spicy beef brisket hotpot, taste is still the same. See less

I ordered a char kuey teow on 30 November 2020. I told the girl at the counter to use less salt, less oil and no MSG. Although the taste is acceptable, it was oily, very salty and full of MSG! It also contained a lot of broken bits of Chinese sausage, dried chili seeds and dried shrimps which is not palatable! Suggest you re-train the chef to adhere to customer's request and bin the dried shrimps. See less

Would give 3.5 if I would. The taste of food was good, but it gets very repetitive, without any unique flavour that you would expect from Asian dishes. Very limited ingredients on the seafood noodles. Would recommend 8.80 pork belly although the size is quite small as expected. See less

Ordered number 88 Wonton Soup, it had ZERO flavour (soy and sesame oil added) I ate the dumplings out of what was essentially a bowl of water, cabbage and overcooked noodles. They gave me a new dish and were polite I got the ‘Meat Combination’ - not much meat 😂😂😂 I think, since they moved location, the quality of the food has gone down and the price slightly up. I won’t be coming back for a while I don’t think. I used to be a REGULAR because it was cheap, fast and flavourful. More expensive, slower to get meals and less flavour It’s a REAL shame! ALSO like 80% of their teas are almost ALWAYS sold out so don’t hold your hopes of you are coming here for their new selection of teas See less

Nice atmosphere and absolutely delicious food with reasonable price. I was surprised to see how busy they were on a Wednesday night. Friendly customer service. If I have to find one thing that I would complain about is that chilli is not very chilli, but you can always add extra more for a hot effect See less
