The awesome food and service. Wok fried chicken and chili pickle fish noodles are my favorite food. I strongly recommend that. If u like tofu and soup, the frozen tofu soup also very nice. This tofu will be full of soup. It very juicy. The waiter very friendly and kindly. If u need any requests they almost will help u!!! Everyone should try this restaurant! See less

Seriously, this is the best and cheapest Chinese restaurant I've had in Brisbane so far! !! Although cheap, but the quality of the food is very well controlled! I ordered pickle fish noodle soup and soy steam chicken with rice today. They are very fresh! !! It tastes great as well!!!!! Highly recommended!!!!!! Will come more often!! See less

Nice service and food, will definitely come back again. The restaurant is really clean. The pudding is really delicious and is really a large serve and the beef brisket is also big enough for 2 people. See less

We were always happy with our food there until today. Ordered a seafood combination noodle but the noodle came out with very little sauce. When we checked with two staff members, we were told the food should come out like that. I ordered the same item last week and it definitely wasn't like that. This is one of my frequent order list from Jackpot for the past 15 years and am sure their seafood combination is not like that. Unless they change ? We have checked with two staff and was told the same. Very disappointing See less

My husband and I went to Jackpot Dining in Carindale for lunch today and found ourselves having our worst dining experience by far. Food was average, service was terrible and, we felt that we were sitting in a hazard zone the entire time. Food which we had ordered was Deep Fried Sweet Buns, Spicy Beef Brisket Hot Pot, Crispy Beef Strips In Peking Sauce, 2 bowls of rice and 2 drinks. None of it was worth the asking price. - Sweet buns were $7 for 5 tiny buns. - Crispy Beef In Peking Sauce was bland and my husband had described that the best of the food experience was the rice and the beer. - Hot Pot was served with a portable fire stand served a purely decorative purpose, due to the fact the fire stopped burning almost immediately after the meal was served and left it barely warm. - rice was $2 per bowl and the serving sizes were just half of standard rice bowls. Service: The layout of the counter was very poor. The register is situated right next to the pathway of staff members bringing hot food out. My husband and I were lining up to order our meal and had staff members storming out from the kitchen with hot food and walking through the group of customers. During the wait I had noticed that the staff was giving customers a cuttley stand during purchase and we hadn't been given one with our table number when we ordered. After we made our purchase and sat down, we didn't realise we didn't have cutlery until a staff member tossed the beef dish on our table and raced off. At the time, my husband had to go back to the register to pick up a cuttley stand himself. We had to wait for a while for rice to arrive, and by the time it had arrived the beef dish was starting to go cold. When the hot pot arrived to our table, I was reaching to the sweet buns on the table, unaware another staff member was approaching, who very roughly placed the hot pot on the table right next to my arm, nearly hitting me with it, and raced off again. The staff member didn't saying anything, no warning that hot items were about to be placed on the table, and just placed it so carelessly. I was lucky that I noticed it fast enough and had dodged fast enough, otherwise I would have had the fire stand touching my arm and had hot food drop all over my arm. After that experience, we will not be dining at Jackpot again. See less

Made the mistake of not looking at the reviews before eating here. Bland, dry food. Quite a bit worse that your usual food court Chinese self serve. No quality control. Had to sent back two burnt/over cooked dishes. Hong Kong noodles were tasteless and mushy. Pork and Tofu special was dry and looked like it had been sitting in a pot All day. Chinese soy chicken and rice was just steamed chicken with sauce poured over. Staff too busy trying to pump out orders than check quality. Runs and tastes like a nursing home canteen or something. Below average. Obviously the canned PR responses to reviews here don’t get actioned. As there is an overwhelming consensus on the quality of this place and it’s getting worse not better See less

Ordered red braised pork belly, only 6 pieces of meat, and 9 of quartered potatoes. Seriously chef? Roast duck and chasui pork, doesn’t seem like, even the roasted pork skin is very soggy… Dont know why Google don't allow us reply the business owner. Received reply from business, it seems very professional and nice, however, after seeing all those 5 star reviews in Chinese with curses to customers who provide honest review, we strongly believe their customer service is not trust worthy. Highly recommend business owner to save the time and cost on covering your quality, and focusing on your food and services. See less

Food was not very good and came in takeaway containers, even when the beef was meant to be a sizzling dish. See less

Taste ok, but quality not as good as the Toowong store where we eat regularly. The Garlic butter chicken was reasonable, with only some pieces slightly dry. However, the Crispy Beef in Peking sauce was way overcooked (dark, dry & chewy), & the Special Fried Rice was about 25% Peas! (You can order the fried Rice without Peas, but the wife ordered before I arrived, & had forgotten.) Anyway, we've only eaten at this store the once, so it's possible they were just having a bad day for some reason, & it should be noted that the food & service at Toowong store is impeccable, & highly recommended! Hands down worst food i have ever had and worst experience. First of all, Took ages to get delivered. The satay chicken was undercooked and i didn't realise until it was too late. Of what little Satay sauce that was there was not nice at all. Jackpot special fried rice had noo flavour, no salt, and it all tasted reallyy old like it had been sitting out all day!!! Ordered sweet n sour pork, recieved way overcooked, crunchy and could only taste a strong wine flavour, the bowl was also filled with burnt onion. Chicken and cashew was made with wayyy too much garlic. If i could give 0 stars i would, it doesn't even deserve 1 star. See less

Tried the jackpot and has bad experience. The sesame toast not bad. The chicken and pork so dry and not much taste. The pickle soup too salty. The kiwi drink not bad, but the strawberry one so watery, cannot even taste the milk or strawberry flavour. See less

Stopped for lunch at Jackpot Dining with hungry empty bellies. The decision on what to eat was our only dilemma. So much yummy food to choose from. Finally made our decisions. The meals then came out promptly, with amazing flavors, huge size and great value for money. We finished the lot, it was so tasty. Feeling very full and totally satisfied, we left smiling. The staff were kind and helpful in a comfortable feeling restaurant. Thank you all, I'll definitely be back. See less

Was good, forgot i was in a shopping centre for a while. Partner really enjoyed the indervidual brisket hot pot. The half Duck wasn't crispy it was roasted then refrigerated, so the skin was soft/soggy. The cucumber side was Supriseingly nice, but I was suck burping garlic for the next hour. All meats were juicy and good sized portions, the hot pot had a flame which was fancy novelty, which made it fun. Very impressed See less

I was very excited about the opening of this in a closer location. The food came out very fast, although the serving sizes and flavour didn’t match up to the previous Jackpot dining in the west end location (now closed) but can’t complain. See less
