Service was really, really disappointing. I was hesitant to visit after reading reviews that service is not always great. However, decided to give it a go anyway and booked a table of 8 for my belated birthday celebration. We opted for the feed me menu but ended up leaving midway because the food took ages to come.
My guests started getting upset and raised the issue with the wait staff thrice, only to be told that the kitchen is behind on getting orders out. We were there for 3 hours (7.30pm-10.30pm) and all we had were 3 entrees in the first hour and 2 tiny mains, which came out after waiting for 1.5 hours. During this long wait, no proactive attempts were made to apologize or check in on us on the ridiculous wait time. No snacks or light food were served to fill in the long wait time. What made matters worse is the fact that we were seated in front of the open kitchen. We watched the obvious lack of management in the kitchen - little sense of urgency despite an entire restaurant waiting for hours for food, no leadership / head chef delegating and driving productivity with even a chef wandering around despite the long list of unserved orders, and food was being prepared plate by plate as though no prep was done prior to service.
We ended up calling it quits 5 dishes and 3 hours in as it was already 10.30pm and we were only midway through the feed me menu. We were also told that we should expect more wait time to complete the rest of the menu. In order to save my guests from further infuriation, hunger and unhappiness, we requested to only pay for the 5 dishes that were served and went to get fast food instead for we may have to wait till midnight for average food at a high cost. It is incredibly unlikely that any of the 8 of us would return or recommend this restaurant. See less
