Wonderful service from the staff, very attentive and quick. The food was delicious, what we asked for as spicy did not disappoint (Vindaloo) whilst the kids loved the milder dishes (Black lentils house special and butter chicken). They have a nice wine selection that is well priced and the Indian beer was great. Packaged up the left overs and will definitely be back. See less

OMG! The groans of delight from our table as we made our way through the entrees were something to behold. The lamb cutlets, chicken tikka and prawns were out of this world! It’s a place for a long leisurely dinner not a speed feed, highly recommend! See less

Prepare yourself for a fear of regret if you are planning to go to this place. Horrible taste, lots of chilli powder, no flavour of meat. You are better off trying a ready to eat meal from any indian store rather than trying food here. See less

Chicken has not been cooked properly, all gravy dishes have same gravy even if it's prawn , chicken or vegetarian. Very bad customer service.. not even a smile on any employee face... And the worst indian food taste I ever tasted in Australia. See less

Ordered food via Doordash and staff were happy to make adjustments. I really appreciate the special considerations and the most important part, the food was really yumm and I would say “Best Indian Food in Canberra”. It really made my day. Jewel of India is a best Indian restaurant’s. They have a great variety of food as well as they listen what we want and they really fulfil the need of the customer. Loved the food! Price was fair only down fall of the night was we both got curries with one rice each. My wife's rice came out with her curry. Mine came out 10 minutes after my curry was served. Lucky enough i used half of her rice to eat my food otherwise my curry would of gone cold before i received my rice. Besides that it was 5/5 just wish my rice came out on time. See less
