Absolutely the worst fish, chips, potato cakes. Fish was grey/slimy, chips so oily they had been cooked a few times, called to give feedback to have a defensive lady, who didn’t want to listen. Jimmy’s used to be amazing - but house hold members shared they had awful food from there over past few months. Unfortunately this has led to a poor review. See less

As our favorite fish and chips was shut for holidays we decided to try food here as we remember the times when a Norvegian family owned the shop and we drove from the city to have their food. We tried several times after and never liked the result, this time was not much better. Potato cakes were allright, but the scallops were a disaster. They looked enormous, but it was all batter and the tiniest piece of scallop inside, i've never seen anything like that. I wonder what the owners think of their business. There are other shops around, you try it once and never come back. So we are looking forward to our favorite shop to open, it has never let us down. See less

Got some chips, potato cakes and dim Sims. The chips and potato cakes where amazing, perfectly cooked and crunchy. The dim Sims were the same. Wouldn't go anywhere else. x2 See less

We popped by as we were driving through the area and were pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The chips were great and I usually expect fish and chip shop burgers to be pretty poor, but the cheeseburger was nice. Staff were nice and the wait time was reasonable (about 10min) See less

Delicious fish and chips. The flake was melt in your mouth and the potato cakes were so nice and crispy. Wonderful customer service and the shop was nice and clean. 10/10 would recommend. The best and cheapest fish and chips I’ve had in a long time. Can’t wait to go back!! See less

I love Jimmy's but the last fish we had was one of the worst. The batter was stuck to the pieces of fish we had and the flake did not seem fresh, as it was grey and burnt brown on the edges. Sorry to say this. See less

Me and my wife decided to try Jimmy's Fish Shop tonight, as our regular Fish N Chip shop George's Fish N Chips was closed. It's fair to say that we were very dissapointed with dinner and didn't even finish our meal. Potato cakes were as thin as paper, dim sims were still white and not even golden brown(not cooked properly either). The Flake was the biggest let down. For what you pay, you get a tiny piece of flake and the batter was very average. Not to mention they must not be deep frying at the correct temperature as the food did not seal and was just saturated in oil and grease. Safe to say that we will not be returning. Sorry. See less

Useless. Placed phone order told 20min. Drove down and waited 40mins in shop. Lady on Grill USELESS. Walk in customers ordered and left with their orders. I waited 10 min in front of cash register. No one even turned around to ask what I was waiting for. USELESS Never again. 4/6/21 See less

My husband & myself had a lovely feed l ordered steak sandwich which was absolutely delicious & some chips yummo & my husband had a Chico roll & some chips. Will definitely be back. The menu board had lots of great choices 😃 See less

Beautiful fish and chips Have had the homemade hamburgers in batter think they are the best in bacchus marsh. Also had there dim sims in batter omg yum. Fish bites are gummy and are yummy not over cooked cooked to perfection. See less
