Thought of giving a try to this suburban restaurant….Never heard of waiting 2 hours for dinner in a restaurant. Priority was absolutely for take away orders…if you are under staffed and something else is on your priority list then you should book less tables for dining. People coming in later than us were getting served earlier than us…….how come?? Food wasn’t that amazing either..:wouldn’t be going back again See less

Our favourite local restaurant. Is it the best that we've ever had, no. Is it the greatest service ever, no. But it is reliably good, absolutely yes. If we need to go out for dinner, we will invariably pick Jimmy's. We know the food is good and the staff are polite - what more can we ask for from a suburban restaurant? See less

Have tried food from Jimmy's a couple of times now. After a mediocre experience last time ordering from them we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and try again, however there was no saving grace. The satay chicken was inedible - it tasted flavourless and had the texture of rubber. The meat dishes were overly salty and oily, and vegetables overcooked and soggy. See less

Used to be good. Customer service has declined and so has the food, wait times have increased even when dining in and restaurant is near empty. Food is arriving cold to the table and priority is given to takeaway and not those dining in. Time to find another Chinese restaurant one who actually cares for their patrons. See less

New go-to for Chinese food! Prices and serving size are great. All meat dishes come with generous amounts of prawn or pork, etc. Quality is amazing, especially the vegetables, which are always fresh. Can't wait to try more :) See less

I love the food at Jimmy's and hence why I keep ordering delivery from them ... BUT after spending almost $85, I would have liked to see some free prawn chips and maybe a couple of fortune cookies! It doesn't hurt to offer a small gesture of goodwill. Especially for an order of that value. Other Chinese restaurants do this for spending just $30. It's how you look after good customers. 👌 See less
