I absolutely love this neighbourhood gem. After moving to the area 5 months ago, I've visited Johnny's at least once a week. Absolutely everything in the store is super fresh and exceptional quality. I love the incredible almond croissants as much as the buttery pies and sausage rolls. If it's your first time at Johnny's you MUST try the almond croissant -- it's Sydney's best kept secret! Best almond croissants in Sydney! We visit every week and find all the pastries and cakes delicious- freshly made with skill ...and real butter which sometimes you can hear Johnny bashing with vigour in the kitchen to soften it . A charming couple with devoted customers 👍 See less

Johnny and Mabel your fabulous gâteaux, petit gâteaux & tarts are delicious and your pastries to die for. I discovered you with my cycling group and we can’t go past your coffee and almond filled croissants. These croissants are the best in all the eastern suburbs. Driving from Coogee is a pain but I can’t have a successful dinner party without a sweet brought from Johnny’s Patisserie. See less

I'm part of a cycling group and we stop here every Saturday for our morning coffee. Johnny and Mabel are the friendliest people, they always greet us with a big smile and make us feel welcome. We share an almond croissant and it is by far the best one you will ever taste. Their pastries are always fresh and delicious, coffee is superb. It is truly a hidden gem, give it a shot! See less

DEFINITELY 10/10. Johnny and May truly provide an immaculate service, with some incredible cakes, danishes, laminations and apple crumbles. They are extremely kind, caring and joyous people; always with a smile on their faces. The pastries and pies are incredible with amazing prices, the coffee too is great. See less
