Went to Junk last Friday, late on a busy night. The food was amazing! I ordered what the waiter recommended and he was really on the mark. The cauliflower with Turmeric sauce and Pad Junk with Tofu. There were plenty of options to accommodate vegetarian diners like myself:) our Waiter “Kjel” with a silent J, aka the pommy guy ;) was wonderful, gave great advice and some fun banter. We will certainly become regulars <3. See less

Absolutely fantastic food. Great service. Friendly staff. One small piece of feedback is the background music was a bit to loud. It was hard to talk and to listen to people we were dining with. I will be back for sure. See less

I met with a girlfriend for a late birthday celebration. It was a very busy day. The food was good and the service was good also. They were very busy and we waited a little while. But everybody was well mannered and happy. We will head back as soon as possible. See less

Awesome meals. The yellow curry cauliflower melts in your mouth & the tempura zucchini is the best you’ll ever find. Highly recommend the bug sliders too…… actually reserve a few meals there and eat it ALL. See less

We finally tried JUNK in Maroochydore and were blown away. We have been going to Rice Boi religiously for ages now so wanted to see if JUNK compared. The food was absolutely delicious and really reasonably priced. They had heaps of gluten free options as well as a good selection of vegan food too! Absolutely loved! See less

Another suggestion by Bertie, an old lunch haunt when she was working on the sunshine coast, Junk Maroochydore. Went in for a w=quicklunch bite and, happy to say, left VERY happy. Had the crispy pork belly, kingfish sashimi and the special cheeseburger spring rolls...mmmm, It was the perfect lunch we needed on the day and got us across the line! See less

As I entered this realm of Junk, a curious dwarf approached and proclaimed to be the "Great Dwarf King of the Springbok Clan". He invited me to sit at the "Kings Table" where I did feast on the most succulent of mutton and the finest of mead. We sung our merry tunes and feasted upon our meals and drank mead from our horns. Today we leave this land to go a viking and do so under the watching eye of Odin and his guiding hand. If this is my time to walk through the gates of Valhalla this meal provided by the Dwarf King and his elves from Svartalfheim is a fitting last meal as it was fit for the gods themselves! See less

Great decor, great menu and the food was delicious. The restaurant was really busy, but the service from our waiter “the pommy guy” as he called himself was great. I definitely recommend and we’ll definitely be back. There’s a lot more on that menu that I want to try. See less

The food has never let me down at Junk and I have been a lot! I had the Morten Bay bug mini burgers and OMG so good, I could eat them everyday. If you like fresh bread and some good bugs, these are for you I think those were a special so get in quick!! See less
