The staff here are wonderful, they always remember our regular orders and are just so lovely to talk to. The kitchen always looks clean and looked after and we’ve never had any issues with the food. So good! See less

So bad service never come back again … I ordered three fish cakes and coffee , the fish cakes was salty I can not eat it , after 2h I return it and asked may I swap the drink but seem like my fault cause I keep too long , I walked away but they did not say anything .. I can not believed that even I am Vietnamese buy Vietnamese foods. Everyone make sure taste first or return straight away if not no chance refund money or get other drink Good luck all See less

They make MacDonalds look stellar! Because they (Kaleen Family Fast Food) just sold me the worst Schnitzel Burgers I've ever had the misfortune to have. The schnitzels are obviously pre-packaged, frozen schnitzels that came out oily and overcooked once they'd been 'cooked' by the takeaway. Given the price tag ($9.50) I was expecting something that was better than the Macca's chicken burger, but no. The only thing about the Kaleen Famiy Fast Food Schnitzel Burger that could be classed as 'better' than Macca's offering is the bun. It wasn't the sugary buns Macca uses, but in all other areas, the takeaway's burger was dreadful. Never again. See less

Have been going there for a while and the food is hit and miss, sometimes it's ok but mostly not, recently they started talking EFTPOS and big sign that says $20 minimum, and 1.5percent surcharge, for a business that works on 1000 percent profit I think this is outright rude and an insult to their customers. Not the Best place to get Chips and Potato Scallops. I have been there three times and still the quality of the chip and oil is disappointing. The chips are very oily and don’t taste fresh. The oil is not as fresh as it could be. Evidence is clear when you see how brown coloured the food is after cooking. Pros: 1. Nice staff and very quick at cooking and preparing the food. 2. Price of Potato cakes are fair Cons: 1. Oil seems over used and shows on the finished product such as chips and potato scallop bring to burnt. 2. The potato scallop batter is to soft if not eaten straight up after ordering but even then I have had better. 3. The chips are no good. To skinny and not the traditional chips you would eat from a family takeaway. Perhaps add the frozen chips to the clean oil and avoid the chips from being room temperature. The chips were burnt and potato tasted old like it was frozen too long. When somebody orders $7 worth of chips and 5 potato scallops please pack the scallops in a separate box and not together. I have visited the takeaway three times and would recommend the other Kaleen takeaway (see review). That said there is always room for improvement and I will update the review if things change. The staff seem like good people so try it for yourself. The fish looked pretty good. See less

The old lady here called me derogatory words to the other staff while I was waiting for my food because she thought I couldn't understand her.made snarky comments to the kids working there so they would look at me and then laugh.l left without my food even though I had paid because she made me feel so unwelcome and uncomfortable. I am always polite as I know how rude some customers can be. Will NEVER go here again and I will never let anyone in my family waste their money here either. See less
