Fantastic food and great service. Food is always fresh and definitely best veggie burger in Traralgon. Lamb souv always has heaps of meat and everything cooked to perfection. Staff are awesome and super friendly. See less

In 2017 this place was amazing! Now in 2020 I literally just ordered. As soon as I opened it I could tell the potato cakes that I ordered were cooked on a temperature that was too high. I bit into a potato cake and it was still raw! Ewww. I decided to think that it was a one time thing so I bit into the other 3 I ordered, they were RAW ASWELL!! the chips were undercooked or overcooked and my sausage in batter had the littlest bit of batter I have ever seen! There was also a little kid running around in the cooking space with no care of the covid-19 and just general safety precautions, even the people cooking and prepping the food weren't wearing any form Mask or glove. The food and drink were really expensive aswell! I would not recommend this place!! To Kats fish and chips, can you please try a little harder. See less

The food was average the female staff were friendly BUT I never never met someone that turned me off ever returning like the staff member (? owner). Yelling and swearing at staff, swearing about customers, aggressive body language. Very easy for others to feel unsafe. Repulsive. I warn everyone about that place. See less

Kat's fish and chips the go to place in traralgon!! So after a horrible experience at bluebay fish shop in traralgon (staff eating food while trying to serve you, obviously an extremely unhygienic and disgusting practice in any restaurant) I found Kat's fish and chips! One time I accidentally ordered a fried flake instead of grilled but I thought I had said grilled and I hadn't it was my mistake and they went out of their way to put on a grilled flake for me and it was no problem at all! The customer service at this place is fantastic! Highly recommend this place if I could give it 10 stars I would. Highly recommend if your looking for quality hygienic fish and chips! Will be back most definitely! See less

Best Fish & Chips highly recommend the flounder is amazing always cooked to perfection. Chips cooked perfectly Never had greasy chips or fish not to forget the chicken salt. Keep up the great quality. See less

Used to be lovely fish and chips but i would never go back after out last visit. Service was repulsive! No one could tell me what the ingredients of the veggie burger were, i got told "no idea, why?" i asked if they could find out, server went out the back begrudgingly with an attitude to "try and find what's in the patty" and came back out and said "I've got no idea, couldn't tell ya" i asked if there was any allergen warnings on the packaging and got "dunno, he's chucked the box out." The music was blaring in there, the cook spoke disgustingly and also had no idea what was in anything which is a big concern. Absolutely gross. See less
