A family friend booked a table of 4 for my birthday. Not only was it understaffed we were told we had to order from a tablet which most of the group were not comfortable. On the tablet most of the online menu items were not there and when asked about why we were told excuses like the didn't have a single person who knew how to make coffee, the brisket was unavailable due to them only just putting it down to cook. Now brisket commonly takes 4-5 hours so why was it not started during morning/afternoon prep for the start of dinner service idk. As we left the staff tried to give us free wine as a peace offering to get us to leave a good review. We also heard from other patrons that other orders had been messed up by what little staff they had. Will not be returning. See less

My grandaughter and I went to the keg and barrell and ordered steak . The food was terrible . Especially considering it was way over priced. Mine was full of gristle and my grandaughters over cooked . The waitress was very nice ,but didn't offer any money back . The tablet menu is awful . I will never go back. Very disappointing. Seats outside very uncomfortable and had bird poo on them . See less

Im one to never complain but Was disappointed with my meal. Asked for meat to be cooked medium and got it well done! Bad quality of steak and potatoes were over cooked. Def not worth your money See less

After looking at the menu online the wife n I thought this joint sounds great for a nice Saturday lunch, Unfortunately the experience left us quite disappointed. For entre we shared a baked Camembert, this was actually pretty delicious. For mains I had the brisket burnt ends and the bride had the beef ribs. The flavour of the burnt ends was decent, Unfortunately they were not burnt ends at all, merely strip's of brisket cut up and smothered in a BBQ sauce. There was no caramelised goodness. The beef rib was even more disappointing, especially noting it was a $40 meal. It was very dry and not at all juicy and had very little flavour. I'm assuming it must have been cooked long before and reheated. We left wishing we had just gone to the local bakery, would have been much more satisfying :/ See less

Tried to order food but no one would come to the counter.... All we could hear were girls laughing making jokes and just blatantly ignored us like we were nothing. Felt so disrespected and was quite offended honestly. Looks like a nice place but don't expect to be served because no one will take your order. I was so enraged I wanted to call back when the supervisor was in as Ive worked in hospitality and I would never want my business being presented in such a poor manner. See less

My husband and I had dinner tonight and it was fantastic. I had the brisket and he had the waygu beef. Delicious. Staff were very attentive and polite. Ordering on tablets was so easy. Our food came out very fast and it was soooooo good. Pricing was very reasonable. I highly recommend it. 👌 See less

No waiters to serve you... got to do it yourself on a cumbersome tablet. The "food deliverers" were friendly - but my 'Texas Slo Cooked Ribs' was dry and tough. Underwhelmed. See less

We went as a party of 9. The food was amazing except for the brisket. Its not Texas brisket at all, it was a fail. Should never be chewy or fatty. The Camembert with pieces of burnt toast scraped . A big no no . Loved the ipad ordering. Safe in the pandemic. We will be back. Sort out the brisket. Thanks, great atmosphere See less

Food was very average - beef burger tasted bland, fried chicken burger was burnt. Waiters were helpful when they were there. Tablet service needs work, took 15 minutes to get a soft drink and was not at all busy. The South needs a good restaurant like this, it's a good idea. Maybe we came on a bad night or something. If you like being seated with a menu to look over and then engage in a conversation with the waiter about items then this place is not for you. You're given a device to look up and order all of your food and drinks - I personally don't like this approach. But my main issue was the food. I ordered the Texas BBQ Beef ribs and while the meat was cooked beautifully the ribs lacked flavour and moisture. The sauce was almost undetectable. My partner had the very expensive $70 Wagyu steak. It was underseasoned and overcooked. I won't be coming back. See less

Came here for a burger a few weeks ago and were delighted with what was on offer. We were seated quickly out the front which is a great little spot to people watch. We ordered burgers and they came out quite quickly. Chips were super crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The burger was tasty and delicious. Staff were friendly and made sure our meal was all ok. Will be back to try the steak in the future. See less

The service and food was absolutely top notch. The tablets are a great idea, freeing up staff to serve while you decide on your order, but they are also more than happy to help with ordering if you need it. The food was delicious, could not fault anything, the drinks arrived quickly, all the meals came out together so nobody was left waiting, and everything was cooked to perfection. See less
