Had my first Kermonds hamburger over 45 years ago and have had many over the years. First visit to the Geelong store yesterday and wasn't disappointed. Top marks for the staff and food. Wish they could open a store in Brisbane. Cheers See less

Excellent down to earth burger. Little unique touches such as the grilled tomato make this a very pleasant experience. Not my favourite patty but tasty none the less. Chips were perfect. High class chip shop chips. See less

Called here after movies and glad I did. Burgers like the old fashioned way, chips hot and crunchy and somewhere to sit and eat. The two lads there Sunday arvo 21/3 were excellent and made sure all their customers were well looked after. Welcome to Geelong and hope you have many years here. Bit pricey but then you get quality. If you want cheap and tasteless, go to Maccas. See less

Had a beautiful burger/chips at Kermonds yesterday. Burger was so juicy and really tasty, the chips were crispy and had just the right amount of salt added. The meal was freshly cooked, the staff were super friendly and didn’t have to wait long for the food. These guys are killing it in their Warrnambool store and hopefully they will continue the great work in Geelong. Will definitely be back for more. See less

Friendly service with a chat from the staff primed my disposition well for some of the best crispy golden chips I have had in YEARS, to accompany a damn tasty old school type burger with the recommended fixings. I’m glad I inquisitively stumbled into this joint, rather than be caught like a moth by the beacon of the McDonald’s a few doors up. THIS is how it should be. See less

I have heard about the legendary classic Aussie burgers from Warrnambool- and now they are in Geelong! Finally got in there and they were great! The customer service was fantastic and very friendly, food was prepped quick and the portions were big! Food was great, classic burgers, great chips and the chilli burgers were really good too! Do not go next door to the horrible maccas and eat fake food! Go here instead!! Real food! See less

Classic Aussie cornerstore burger. Definately a different style to what's going around these days but still has its charm. Great bun, but the way the patty is made gives it a thickness close to what you'd find in a Macca's cheeseburger. Maybe consider a double... See less
