Was told it would take 20 minutes and waited 40 minutes and finally asked and they said it had not even started. Got a refund. Only asked for two dishes. Avoid. See less

Phoned in a takeaway, I was told it would be ready in 15 mins and it was ready when I arrived. The food was hot and tasty. A good variety of meat and veg in the short soup meal including a few big juicy prawns and lovely wontons. The prawn toast was thick and full of prawns. I loved the lobster dumplings, so tasty. I have always had good food from Kevin's Place. See less

Once every month or two we injoy there awesome steamed dim Sims so light and fluffy and their option of Vietnamese spring rolls is yum nothing like a bbq laksa or their clear mushroom soup to really get the taste buds going go kevins! Cleanest kitchen I have seen in a restaurant in a long time. See less

Thank you! The service is very friendly, the food is absolutely delicious, the atmosphere is lovely where you can hear each other and enjoy the conversation As for value - we ate and drank the night away and spent about $30 a head. Loved it! Can't wait for next time. See less

Have been visiting here for years, always a fantastic meal and great service. The staff are lovely and pleasant to deal with. Usually not too busy or noisy, so great for a lunch or dinner with easy conversation. See less

Kevin's place is a casual dining restaurant. A simple and functional place to eat in peace. The menu options are plentiful and the portions more than adequate. Prices o my opinion is slightly on the high side some tending towards city rates. The food was mostly bland especially the rice dishes which included special fries rice and nasi goreng. Fried chicken in chilli sauce was a winner though a must try if your options are limited. Overall average. See less

I've been going to Kevin's since it opened many moons ago. They have great food and it's always reliable. I can't think of a time when the food had ever been bad. The menu has a good selection and the food is cooked within a reasonable amount of time. Pricing is reasonable across the menu. The only reason it's not 5 stars is the decor inside is a bit bare and the staff are very capable but not cheerful. See less
