Really terrible experience here. Waited in a queue in the drive through for about 30 minutes which was absolutely fine as I could see they were busy. However when it came to paying I asked if I could split the payment between two cards. The worker said yes but then I noticed each card was charged an extra $3. I mentioned that she’d over charged, in a polite way, and the worker snapped at me. She tossed the receipts in my car and said “here’s the receipts! We’re actually really busy, You sort it!” And then slammed the window. She then came back put our food on the ledge and said “next time, no split payments!” And then slammed the window again. I understand that they were busy but the way this worker talked to me wasn’t okay, especially because I wasn’t being in rude in any way. I don’t really care about being overcharged $6, but I do care that I was treated so rudely. See less

I'm not one for scathing reviews but this one is called for. This location is second to none when it comes to providing the worst KFC experience in the country. Our order was taken by a hostile and unprofessional manager who stormed off mid-question and made snappy comments. Worst of all, the chicken did not have the classic KFC flavour. It was oily, burned, and bland with pieces the size of nuggets. KFC, please recruit more competent management and have someone look into why the chicken at this branch tastes different to all the others. Disgraceful and embarrassing. See less

We visited on 14th Jan in the afternoon, staff looked like they had all just woken up but still in need of sleep. So slow and ignoring customers at the door and till until being told to address them. We had black soot fall on us from the ceiling and staff were so casual about it. We weren't willing to cause a fuss there as we'd been driving all morning but never again. I've been ringing but no one is answering. I bought bucket of 8 pieces and large potato and gravy with large coleslaw. First piece was OK...bit dry but batter nice. 2nd piece, I'm peeling off the crispy skin...then I see pink raw chicken. Yikes!! I tell my daughter and her 2 kids not to eat the chicken....too late.... NO EXCUSES KFC of Fairy Springs Rd, Rotorua, New Zealand!!! No surprises....everytime we drove past there were no customers!!! The worst ever, 55mins to get through drive in to order. Then heard staff member say oh fu..k them! Asked to talk to manager, she was busy, Haley?! No one else had complained...lol We saw at least 5 other cars manage to reverse out, we were trapped! Total time from entry to exit, 1hr5mins! Could have driven to Taupo ffs! See less

Picked up food through the drive through about 5.30 last night. The food would have to be the worst I have ever had from a KFC store. Barely any chicken meat in the wicked wings and the coating was dry - threw them all out. The deluxe quarter pack was terrible. The chicken was that small and dry also. Obviously it had been sitting in the oven for some time. The oil tasted rank. No way will I be eating food from there again. See less

Been hanging out for KFC, since b4 lockdown. The drive through were very very serious about covid protocol, which is awesome. The food was fresh, which I have found in the past to be the case, out of all the kfcs I've visited over the years, I've never had a dry, stale, over cooked piece of chook yet. Placed a delivery order online. I ordered a Bacon Lovers Hash Double Down Ultimate Meal. When it arrived, it was literally 2 pieces of chicken with sauce splashed all over the wrapper. I called and complained, they said they would send out a new one with the correct order (I confirmed the order several times with the guy on the phone). Second attempt was delivered and it was 2 pieces of chicken with a load of raw bacon on it. Still not what I ordered and paid for!!! Tried calling again, they didn't answer. I am now on call attempt #29 and they are ignoring me. Photos are of the first and second attempt, clearly neither is what I ordered and both look like absolute garbage. See less
