Tried this place out on a whim this morning and I was very impressed! Came in around 9:30 for breakfast and ordered a latte and iced latte to drink (stellar). We ate the pancakes and sweet potato rosti. You really get a bang for your buck here! The food was delicious; I can’t recommend this place enough. The best breakfast I ever had! The moment the food arrived on my table, it instantly make me hungry. The eggs benedict is perfectly seasoned! Worst breakfast in Canberra. Undercooked rosti’s and packet mix pancakes. The time for food to turn up was excessive and when it did orders were cold and incomplete. It took so long I could have turned coal into diamonds. The man bun making coffee had terrible service and attitude. The coffee was half decent but not enough to save the review from 1 star. He was openly rude when we asked if our coffee order was on the way. Overall for 70 dollars with a “public holiday surcharge” it was a complete rip off, unless the surcharge was to cover for food poisoning and attitude. I will never be going back. See less

This place is great! Lovely staff, a cool unique style which is family friendly and cosy. The food is delicious and caters to a variety of audiences. Coffee is pretty good with room.for improvement. 5 stars due to the amazing way they treat families and you get kids. See less

The food is good here and the service is friendly. The down side is that the acoustics are bad. It's very noisy which makes it difficult to converse. It's a popular place for families with games and books available on a sharing shelf. The toast is a generous size (see picture). I had the kickstarter bowl which was cauliflower and broccoli 'rice' with pickled cabbage, kale and nuts. It was very filling! The big breakfast is amazing. I would also recommend that you order a side of bacon if you're not getting any on your chosen dish. See less

The menu looked promising and the positive reviews encouraging. However, despite their agreeable ethos on the walls, our dinner was well below average. We ordered the schnitzels. The veal was alright, but the chicken was pink and bland. The mash was instant, overdosed with garlic powder and inedible. One glass of sparkling wine was flat, but was quickly fixed up by our waitress. See less

Absolutely love this place! Food are fantastic and staff are very friendly and caring. You have to try their pancakes and their home baked daily muffins. They are so delicious!! As a mother myself, I found this cafe very spacious. Mothers who are looking for a breastfeeding and pram friendly cafe, this is the one!! It's rarely find a cafe like this in Braddon! See less
