Unfortunately the food wasn’t very nice at all. Our lemon chicken was so dry it was hard to swallow even with the lemon sauce, the sweet and sour pork wasn’t what we are used to, the flavour was funky and the pork was braised or something not battered as we’ve had in the past. The dim sims and spring rolls were ok and so was the beef in black been, but just ok nothing to get over excited about. We normally get Kongs at Greenvale and we will continue getting it from there now. Very disappointed See less

Food was good but used the online ordering option which charged me an extra $21 to order and pick up myself. Biggest rip off, view the menu then place a phone order, don't go through menulog 🤬 See less

I've been going to Kongs and ordering Vegetarian fried rice for years. Always worth the price with loads of veggies and cashews. Tonight it was all rice, a few slivers of carrot and cabbage. No broccoli, no zucchini and no cashews. This was $12.50. I don't mind paying when it's loaded with the previously stated stuff but I'm not paying that again for a few slivers of carrot and cabbage that is cheap. Gone way down hill. Won't go there again. I've been going to Kong's since it opened. I've always been treated respectfully and the food was lovely. The last couple of times the food has been 'meh' and the staff completely disorganised and even rude. They are hopeless on the phone, forgetting people holding on more than one occasion. In fact, on one visit, I even had to remind one woman that she still had someone on hold when it came to my turn in line. I don't know whether they are under new management or have new staff, but they really are hopeless now and it's time to look for a new place, or maybe a good opportunity to just focus on home cooking. Definitely recommended. We tried the food here for the first time and ordered vegan friendly food. The food was very tasty, good portion and good service. As vegans we had to first call the restaurant and ask for vegan options. Order was the veg chowmein, veg fried rice (requested to remove egg) and veg black bean. Suggestions would be more vegan options. See less

Absolutely appalling customer service We have been patrons for a long time who doesn’t mind spending a dollar We have never had a complaint until now, and their unprofessional and unhelpful response will never see another dollar from us again... Fantastic restaurant with great food. Very generous with portion sizes and will take out certain food if you do not like it. Prices are ok, not the cheapest, but you definitely get a couple of meals out of it, so worth the cost. Thanks, will return again. See less

Awesome Chinese food here and the service is excellent. Just be aware that it can get a bit pricey but it's so worth the extra dollars here. Also it's byo alcohol if you are eating in and planning on having a few drinks. The take away option is great too, and very fast, plus they usually throw in some free prawn crackers. See less
