This is my favourite Indian restaurant. I get takeaway several times a month and it is always fabulous. I can only comment on the veg and vegan dishes but have never got anything that was less than delicious. They'll even custom cook when it isn't busy. I will soon be moving to the other side of Canberra but will still be coming here for my Indian dishes. Try the masala dosa and the onion uttapham. They Al have a house special dosa, if you like heat in your food, then this is for you. See less

When I visited this restaurant last year, I tried biryani & chicken starters it was absolutely delicious and aromatic biryani! Again I visited this place. I ordered biryani along with haleem (takeaway). They ruined my entire easter holiday trip. The food was stinky and tasteless. I had to throw everything in the rubbish and sleep empty stomach. Had Mumbai vada pav and chole bhatore was amazingly delicious scrumptious nice quality as well as quantity fast service and friendly staff would recommend to everyone one stop for all kinds of foods from every corner of India like South Indian north indian everything in one place. One of the most horrible maska bun’s I have ever had. Extremely overloaded with butter. Bhelpuri has no flavour other than that of sweet tamarind chutney. Service wasn’t that great either. Guy has a pretty shallow attitude. Even after advising that food items are not upto mark. If you are copying one of the most iconic places of Jaipur try to do it right! See less

I used to always go to the woden indian food thinking it was the best, however just recently I felt lazy to go all the way over there and thought to try tapri, (BEST DICISION OF MY LIFE) The food is like no other let alone the customer service. I think it was on Wednesday when I met one of the best customer service guy, he was muslim, modest, friendly, nice and most of all quick service. I am addicted to this store now😅. Simply amazing food in a quaint and simple setting. The challenge is in what to try as the menu is full of amazing choices. We shared some very tasty chats and then followed with a delicious chicken briyani. Delicious food, huge portions and very special and warm service. Highly recommended! See less

If you love indian indian food (you know what i mean!), you try Korner Tapri. Beautiful Indian food. We have tried almost every dish and never disappointed. Try their biryanis, dosas and seekh kebabs, out of the ordinary. Amazing staff, great food, reasonably priced, what more you could ask for! A must must try! See less

Best Indian chat place in Canberra. Although very far away from our place, but still we go there for Chat. You just feel Indian chat, the Indian way. One thing for sure, as of now, they are the most economical. If you spend $100 at any other place, i think, you pay only 60 bucks here for the same. Ambience is very Indian, you can hear what the staff is talking about, they speak very loud. Love this restaurant. See less

Korner Tapri is the best restaurants in Canberra. I have always been craving to go there repeatedly. You can find everything in the menu from a quick street food dish to fine-dine style full three course meal, and everything is so delicious. Whether its dine-in or takeaway, I have always had a good experience. The staff are always polite and corteous and the food is consistently of the highest grade and a treat to my taste buds (my mouth is watering thinking of their menu as I am writing this review). I am sure you would have tried the food here, but if you haven't, I strongly suggest you do. And you will find yourself writing a 5 star review for Korner Tapri very soon. Excellent Indian food . It is much fresher tasting than other Indian places I've been to. I could really taste and smell the blend of spices, so props to the chefs. I hope they maintain the quality level over time. Service is great too. They have a buzzer on the table that you can press any time you need staff over. It's still not my favourite type of cuisine so I've given it a 4. See less

We Ordered Tandoori platter - 9/10 - kebabs were yummy. Butter chicken - 9/10 - my kids love butter chicken. Price wise -10/10 Lamb karrahi 0/10 - Lamb karrahi doesn’t taste like karrahi at all.. I am posting a photo as well (it’s black in colour) — Karahi is normally cooked in tomato’s, green chilli and salt only and should be reddish/orangish in colour but this karahi was black in colour with lots of onions and capsicum and taste was nowhere near karahi See less

I have never rated eating Indian cuisine at any restaurant. One of my friends insisted that we visit Korner Tapri once. This place completely changed my mind of eating at an Indian restaurant. The dishes were full of flavour that I could not fathom. My favourite was the goat bryani. The naan bread was fresh and light but not like the ones you get from other Indian restaurants. The only thing that I didn't like was that there were too many things on the menu it took a while for me to make up my mind. Definitely would go back again. See less

Great food and service. The menu was super long, so much to choose from. I'll definitely be going back to try more. Ordered the masala dosa, paneer butter masala, shish kebab and cheese garlic naan with sweet lassi and masala tea. Everything was so delicious. Plus complimentary gulab jamon for dessert.
