The beef BBQ set is absolutely amazing. Bit pricey but you get what you pay for. A5 Wagyu can be had for lower cost at most places though, serving size was very fair. See less

Beautiful food...unfortunately not my kind of scene. Confusing menu and over priced for what you get. Japanese restaurants in other parts of Adelaide offer better service and their is as good if not better. Overall experience was average. See less

Absolutely delicious food, we had a big group and tried a lot of different menu items and all were fantastic. Staff were friendly and helped with the special dietary needs in our group. Highly recommend the yakiniku!! See less

Went there for a birthday with a party of 20. We had the $38pp banquet The food was good No problem there But staff were very disorganised at the start Took ages to get drinks despite telling them multiple times what we had ordered and were waiting on. Then they started serving the food before everyone had a drink. ... but after that things were fine. See less

I’ve been eating brunch/lunch here nearly every day for several years now, so I figure it’s time to post a review! The fact that I’m such a frequent customer says volumes in itself - here’s a few of the reasons: the food is always super fresh, good range of options, and as close to authentic as you might hope to find in a CBD cafe (I think it aligns fairly well with cuisine from Vung Tau region in Vietnam). I think I’ve tried and enjoyed everything on offer across the menu (except the spicy items, but other customers seem to really enjoy those too). As a frequent customer, I’ve had a chance to observe how the team here behaves. The owners are incredibly personable, even when super busy at lunch times, and this attitude flows through to all the staff. They try *very* hard to learn their customers’ names, and I’m amazed how well they succeed with this, with many customers greeted by name as soon as they arrive. See less

We ordered the Assorted  Kimchi, Premium Japanese and Australian Wagyu Platter, Wagyu Ribeye, Pork Belly and Grilled Misoyaki Kingfish. The Assorted Kimchi was a bit disappointing as it only consisted of a seaweed salad, pickled cucumber and standard kimchi, albeit they still tasted OK. The pork belly was a standard cut you could get from the butcher so nothing to rave about there. The kingfish was a tad overcooked, however it was delicious! The smoke in the fish went really well with the fruit sauce (mind you, I've never been a fruit sauce person) and the slight peppery-ness from the raw radish went well with the oily fish. The main fare - the beef - did not disappoint. The cuts were that fresh and marbled that they don't even need the soy/sweet sauce that came with them (and that says something coming from a sauce fanatic). Our favourite cuts were the short rib and sirloin (of course) as they tasted the 'beefiest' and simply melted in your mouth. Service was OK as food was quick to be served and servers were attentive, though it was slightly annoying how they tried to clear some dishes really quickly and also left others uncleared. Overall, it was a memorable night as my husband and I enjoyed each other's company slowly grilling and savoring some high quality beef. We will return. [Total Bill exc. drinks = $143] See less

My husband and I have visited three times now and been extremely impressed on each occasion. The service is wonderful and the food is simply divine. The wagyu beef fried rice is a particular favourite. Thank you for an amazing dining experience. We will certainly be back soon! See less

Its okay only. Nothing stands out and the taste is alright. We kinda got rushed to leave the table as they kept asking if we are done and wants to clear all our utensils. The younger waiter and waitresses serve the customers better and carries a smile most of the time when you talk to them so thats good. See less
