Have been a customer of this patisserie for about 30 years. Many of the recipes they use today taste just like they did when I was a very young boy so long ago (e.g. the vanilla slice, cherry & strawberry fruit flans, lemon and almandine tarts, the style of sausage rolls). Quite an achievement for a business to have such a long stretch of consistency.
The pastry on the larger fruit flans has always been nice but you need to go earlier if you want a large fruit plan (particularly on a weekend) or order ahead.
Prices here are still reasonable, relative to competitors, given the rampant inflation experienced in the food industry since the lockdown period. See less
