The baked goods here are incredible and I have purchased large quantities for multiple occasions. However an encounter today left a bitter taste in my mouth - the staff were unable to locate an item for me after I had paid and then proceeded to sell the last one to a woman that came by after me while I was waiting for them to pack up my items . When I raised with the server that she had just told me the item was sold out - she was completely silent while the woman was completely rude about how it was now hers despite me having already paid for the item . This kind of service is unacceptable- your staff do not treat customers fairly even though the confusion was due to their lack of knowledge . Really poor service! See less

Best bakery in Sydney. Have had so many cakes from La Renaissance for many years and they always met my expectation. Rocks branch is too small and doesn't have the tables inside but the Waterloo branch is spacious and less crowded. Easy to find free street parking spots. The french chef at Waterloo branch was so passionate enough to share his new X-mas cake ideas with us and he was willing to take feedbacks from customers professionally. Love their cakes and happy with their excellent customer service. But they don't do deliveries during X-mas season and I had to go there to pick up 5 cakes on X-mas eve (understand that Christmas is the busiest season during the year and offering delivery can be challenging though..) Great selection of beautiful cakes and price is reasonable. Pastries are fresh and love the shepherd pies, coffees are great. I don't know why they have to charge for ketchup though when dine in... Quiche was too eggy for me. Love the packaging and we eill be back for more cakes! See less

Cakes are really fresh and nice, highly recommend. Unfortunately, I am not a big fan of their coffee. We also had there a food once; it was just a regular brekkie range, freshly made on the spot. See less

Perfect for special occasions, La Renaissance sell the most fanciest cakes of all time! We have recently purchased and ate the cake called GOYA and on behalf of my family, it was the most amazing piece of artwork we have ever consumed! You have to purchase a cake and try it because it will be worth it! See less
