We visited La Tienda twice, first time not too impressed but thought we would give it another try. More disappointed the second time as I ordered a meal with meat but recieved 80% Aussie fries. Paying a decent price for non traditional Colombian food, I prefer to go elsewhere and will not return. Rather disappointed. I give 100% credit to the traditional Colombian decorations which I think are beautiful. See less

We are from Colombia and the taste of the food is like home, definitely. In other hand the staff is amazing, our waitress (Daniela) was incredible and very nice. The place is like a Colombian museum with many things, and strange items that you just see in Colombia. You need to go there and get taste for Colombian food... I loved this place See less

It’s like having dinner at someones house and they made a home-cooked meal for you Such warm and hospitable service. I felt like I was overseas! I tried a special meal (I can’t remember the name!) but the waitress advised me it is a special casseroles dish they only do sometimes (as pictured). Everything was cooked to perfection, the potatoes were fluffy and the meat was delicious, especially the chicken. The sausage was full of flavour and chips cooked to perfection. And then dessert - a warm fudge brownie with vanilla ice cream.. i needn’t say more, it was moreish. Not to mention this place is very reasonably priced for Prahran and great food, you can’t go wrong See less

Amazing ! Been hanging out for traditional and authentic Colombian street food since I returned last year. My friends and I were recently brought back to the beaches of Cartagena and bustling city of Medellin. Staff were amazingly friendly and warm, premises is very clean and food is fresh and filling.
